Academic Leadership Dr. Patricia A. Ladewig Job Title – Provost, Regis University Education – Ph.D., Higher Education Administration, University of Denver; Master of Science in Nursing, Maternal-Infant Health, Catholic University of America; Bachelor of Science, College of St. Teresa; Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center Expertise –Academic leadership. As provost, Dr. Ladewig serves as the chief academic administrator position for Regis University and serves as acting president in the extended absence of the University president. She has worked in higher education for more than 30 years. She has previously served as vice president for Academic Affairs and academic dean of the University’s Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions. As dean she led the college through a time of spectacular growth and development with enrollments increasing from about 100 students to well over 3000. Under her direction the College added the university’s first professional doctoral programs. She held faculty positions at Florida State University, The Catholic University of America, Pikes Peak Community College, and Loretto Heights College before beginning at Regis University in 1988. . She is the co-author of MaternalNewborn Nursing: A Family-Centered Approach, now in its 9th edition, and Maternal-Newborn Nursing: The Nurse, the Family and the Community, 8th edition, and Maternal and Child Nursing Care, 3rd edition.
Accelerated Learning/Adult Education Dr. Peter Bemski Job Title – Professor, M.S. in Organizational Leadership, College for Professional Studies Education –Ph.D., Educational Leadership and Innovation, University of Colorado Denver; M.A., English Literature, Boston College; B.A., English Literature, University of Colorado Boulder Dissertation – Educational Leadership and Innovation Expertise – Profile of adult learners, Organizational Identity, Ethics in Teaching (online and classroom) Building Intercultural Relationships, Leadership. He’s been an assistant dean of graduate programs; assistant director of teaching programs for Centro de Cultura Anglo-Americana (CCAA) Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Center Director for ESL in Denver; President of English Pathways for Teikao University; and spent a year as a conslutant in Qingdao, China and Kissimmee, FL, highlighted by the opening of E900 Center in Qingdao, China, including training, curriculum, marketing and ongoing support.
