Process of getting ISP License is not a rocket science, but it does take some research. Here are the steps explained in the simplest terms: 1. Register a company: Setup an ISP business as a private limited company.

2. Setup the license budget: There are three elements of ISP License cost, the entry fee, the performance bank guarantee and the financial bank guarantee. For each category, the requirement are different. For the Category A ISP, these are highest and for category C they are lowest.

3. Submit the ISP license application: Fill and submit the ISP License application and attach the following document with it: 1. Certificate of incorporation 2. Memorandum of Association 3. Articles of Association 4. Resolution of the board of directors 5. Duly filled Unified License application 6. Power of attorney in the specified format.

4. Receive the letter of intent: After you submit the application, the Department will process it. If they accept your submission, you’ll receive the letter of intent.

5. Follow the rules of the letter of Intent: Once you receive the letter of intent, read it thoroughly, for it contains the instructions you have to follow to get the license.

6. Get the ISP registration: Once you’ve fulfilled all the requirements mentioned in the letter of Intent, you’ll get the Unified license for your ISP.
