DEARBORN COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING June 5, 2012 6:00 p.m., Commissioners Room County Administration Building 215West High Street, Lawrenceburg, Indiana CALL TO ORDER
Present: Jeff Hughes, Shane McHenry, Tom Orschell, Gayle Pennington, County Auditor, Andrew Baudendistel, County Attorney, and Terri Randall, County Administrator.

OLD BUSINESS: Payroll Schedule Change – Tabled until further review Tom Orschell made a motion to table. Shane McHenry seconded, all in favor, motion carried. Assessor - Gary Hensley asked for approval to send out Annual Trending and new assessment RFP and permission to seek bids. Shane McHenry made a motion to approve sending out Annual Trending and new assessment RFP. Tom Orschell seconded, all in favor, motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS: Regional Sewer District - Steve Renihan was absent. Brett Fehrman presented the Mt. Tabor Allocations and sought permission to proceed to Council for funds in the amount of $869,691.89 from the Projects fund. Shane asked how the homeowner would be billed. 49 – 54 homes would be charged a monthly fee. This is a long term payback. They would offer grinder pumps for homes to hook on early. Incentive – no forced hook up. Shane McHenry made a motion to allow DCRSD to approach Council for funding. The motion was seconded by Tom Orschell. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Jeff and Tom discussion of OKI Ramifications – 208 water quality plan. They would like to be assured that there is fair representation. Jeff wants to know if the Commissioners would like to send a resolution to OKI to ask them to amend the map to the original boundaries. What would be the ramifications if they decided not to join with OKI? How affect Fed funds? He would like for Andy Baudendistel to draft a letter to OKI to amend map and present it at June 19th meeting. Dearborn County Economic Redevelopment Commission - Mike Rozow asked to approach County Council for redirection of funds. Paul Kunkel stated that the Redevelopment Commission was appropriated $1.5 million for land acquisition in 2009 – they used $150,000.00 for West Harrison property in 2010. The Commission has acquired a permit from DNR for a business park and would like to approach Council to appropriate $500,000.00 for use as incentive.
