WINTER DANCE!

The Winter Dance is our Christmas celebration, which, as the name suggests, is a formal dance where we can go dance and have fun with other generations. There are tacos, snacks, a dance floor, and a DJ!

This event is organized by the staff of “SER” and every year they put a lot of effort into making our celebration fun for everyone. Tutors and some teachers also attend. It’s held at the SUM. This was the second Winter Dance we’ve had and it’s fair to say it lived up

The Win nce floor and hav can get boring if they’re not playing your kind of music or if you’re not into dancing. I think they should let us leave the SUM whenever we want. Even though it was efficient to do it by generations, by the second hour the music starts to get tiring and we would have liked to have been able to step out for a bit.

CINE AL AIRE

On January 18, the Vía Reggio educational center hosted the "Cine al Aire" (Outdoor Cinema) event, organized by the generation of students who are about to graduate from high school. The outdoor cinema is an activity that the third-year students organize every year. The history of this tradition begins with the 2nd generation of high school students. This group decided to focus their project on building an attraction to leave at the school that everyone could enjoy.

The "Cine al Aire" is a popular event at the Vía Reggio educational center. It is a great way for students to come together and enjoy a fun night out. The event also helps to raise money for the school's scholarship fund.

Initially, the outdoor movie screening was not the students' main idea for their legacy at the school. Rather, it was a way to raise money and they organized an event called "Cine al Aire", a screening of the movie "Wonka". Although some students were disappointed by the size of the cinema, they appreciated the efforts of the school staff.

The outdoor cinema is a tradition that has been maintained year after year at our Vía Reggio and now it is a way for the third-year high school students to leave their mark on the school and to raise money for their project.

The outdoor cinema is an opportunity for the entire school community to enjoy a night of fun and togetherness, watching a movie on a giant screen and consuming a variety of products.

This year, the chosen movie was "Wonka", a story full of magic and fun.

The event was a complete success, and it is expected to be even better next year. If you missed the outdoor cinema this year, don't worry, there will be another opportunity next year. Don't miss it!

VIA REGGIO CUP

The Via Reggio Cup is one of the most anticipated events, it is an opportunity to demonstrate our sports skills and compete with other schools in different sports such as soccer, basketball and taekwondo.

The Via Reggio Cup, born in 2014, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year! It all began with a simple goal: to promote sportsmanship and healthy interaction among students. Back then, only kindergarten, first, and second graders participated in soccer matches. Despite the smaller scale, the event was a resounding success, paving the way for the inclusion of basketball, taekwondo, and even jazz in later years.

Our cup is held every year, and there are more and more participants and spectators. Participants prepare with a lot of enthusiasm and dedication, training in the academies and practicing with their teachers and peers.

This cup is an opportunity to also demonstrate the values that we learn in these academies, such as respect, camaraderie, cooperation and teamwork, this year the cup was held from January 22 to 28, and many schools participated such as Chapule, Andes, among others.

The 2024 Via Reggio Cup was a great success, an event that gave us exciting finals and left us with great memories and experiences.

ORGANIZATION&ORDER

Why is having good organization and keeping order important at school?. Having good organization at school is extremely important because whether we notice it or not it does affect the way we do things, we finish things faster if they are done well organized. Order also has an impact on the way you focus on completing a task. We can say that most people find it easier to complete a task in a clean classroom rather than a messy one.

What would happen if we are not organized and clean?

We know that it does not affect all people but working in a clean and organized environment helps them get more work done in less time, for others, being in a disorganized classroom makes them feel overwhelmed by everything that is out of place, not allowing them to work. So it is safe to say that keeping a clean and organized environment does help people concentrate better. Now that you know pay more attention when you are doing your tasks or homework, is your room clean?
