Delivering cost-effective, improved customer comfort with Hitachi’s new Utopia outdoor units

H

itachi Air Conditioning Group has enhanced its cutting-edge range of Utopia IVX and ES Series outdoor units to provide even more benefits to installers and end users – including a greater level of customer comfort at a cost-effective price, as well as improved efficiency and installation. Available with heating and cooling capacities from 10kW to 14kW, the new 4HP, 5HP and 6HP units are perfect for many types of buildings, including shops and offices, thanks to numerous innovative features:

·Customer comfort A highly efficient and cost-effective feature that allows for greater customer comfort includes the individual operation function found in the new Utopia IVX models. This allows customers to meet different temperature demands in the same room, whilst reducing unnecessary electricity wastage.

·Energy efficient

The new models also have an optimized refrigerant cycle which increases the seasonal COP (SCOP) for heating and seasonal EER (SEER) for cooling by 4% compared to previous units. The Utopia range is highly efficient because it incorporates DC inverter compressors and fan motors; with efficiency at low speed significantly enhanced thanks to a new compressor mechanism and new DC motor.

·Easier installation

Installation of the Utopia units has also been made easier, thanks to the individual operation function, as well as their new light-weight and compact design reducing outdoor installation space by 50%. Installation of the IVX 5HP and 6HP is further enhanced, by offering connectable indoor unit capacities down to 0.8HP. There has also been a connectivity increase from triple system to quad system.
