Anyone who may need to enter into an confined space. For example service technicians, apprentices, managers, supervisors and general operatives. Background CONFINED SPACE means any place, including any vessel, tank, container, pit, bund, trench, pipe, sewer, flue, compartment, cellar or other similar space which, by virtue of its enclosed nature creates conditions which give rise to a likelihood of accident, harm or injury of such a nature as to require emergency action. Confined spaces are significantly more hazardous than normal workplaces. The hazards involved may not be unique to confined spaces, but are always exacerbated by the enclosed nature of the confined space. The resulting injuries are potentially fatal. Furthermore there is a propensity for multiple casualties due to the insidious nature of the hazards. Training Provider Refrigeration Skillnet have partnered with Alaymont International to develop this training for the RAC & fire engineering industry. Mark Corcoran of Alaymont is a highly experienced trainer with a focus on the safety field. He is dynamic and facilitative as a trainer and makes a very serious subject area both interesting and enlightening. Mark is a leading member of IOSH and sits on various advisory bodies to the HSA.
