La Mina’s Hope: An Educational Architectural Project

This section highlights the role of the courtyard in facilitating activities on both the ground floor and the first level of the building. It serves as a bridge between traditional and modern school designs, creating a relaxed environment that can help prevent poverty.

The design of the building promotes a calm and inclusive atmosphere. By offering a shared space, the courtyard encourages interaction among young children, fostering community engagement, a sense of belonging, and mutual support. This shared space also strengthens community bonds, creating a supportive environment.

FINAL MODEL MAKING

Created a complete building model and a sectional model of the plywood workshop, including an internal view featuring plywood, stucco wallpaper, and latex water painted details.

EXTERIOR VISUALS

Footways to both sides with planting and regular.

Upon entering the gate, children can be safer and more independent, with garden features and a water fountain providing additional benefits.

Parents can relax in the waiting area while they wait for their children to finish school, and after school, children can play freely.

Encourages socialising and a number of opportunities for play.
