An exporlation into how humans move and take up space in relation to architecture.

Simpler diagrams were pulled from above to have a less human form, line based figure was deemed the reference diagram going forward. Following were many iterations of different representations of form in space.

A final selection to inspire the final part of the project. The image above and to the left the next step in motion. Above in the middle and to the right both show 3 different points on

The two diagrams to the left were movements extracted frame by frame from a video, drawn by hand. Precision was key to creating the elements which composed these, every frame had to line up with the next and have a cohesive story.

Tuck and Roll is constructed of delicately modeled cardstock used to represent the diagrams. The motion simplified in the diagram was the guiding design for the model, the colors are used to distinguish different sides of the figure as it proceeds through motion.
