Creative Time Bank : The Creative Time Bank is a currency of time. The brief was to rebrand and produce a pitch to put forward our concept on how the Time Bank can be developed further with a broader range. I took this brief up as a collaborative project with Peter Sands. We regulary met and developed the brand further and further. Eventually we developed an identity along with a physical and digital currency. What I have learnt : To look deeper into a brief and find new potential in the brand. How to pitch towards a potential client. Not to immediatley design towards print, but to consider digital and new media.

Creative Time Bank : The Identity has a creative element that brings together new and old visual details. This can be adapted when expanding to other highly creative UK locations such as Manchester and Nottingham. The identity can be edited to suit new locations along with a refferenced colour scheme to suit the location.

Creative Time Bank - Token Credits : When a new member joins the Creative Time Bank, they will immediatley be issued with an 8 token booklet, with a time value of 14 hours. Each token will have a unique value of time. These times range from 30 minutes to 5 hours, which allows them to be exchanged between creatives for the use of their time in a practical manner, creating a new currency of time apposed to sterling.

Creative Time Bank - Token Credits : Each token will have a unique value of time. The tokens values will be debossed on the reverse side for each member to use as they wish in a professional manner. The tokens will be made of plastic, cut to the unique shapes as seen in the booklet opposite. They will also have a 5mm hole drilled into them for the members to attach them to keyrings etc.

Creative Time Bank Applications :

A ‘Green’ colour scheme represents that creative area and is applied to all material for this location.

The Time Bank App has been created to allow members to exchange their credits through a digital form apposed to carrying the physical token credits. This application also allows the Time Bank director to oversee transactions between members, record statistics of how effective the credit system is and examin locations of where the Time Bank is a success or a fail. After joining the Time Bank, members will be issued a token booklet along with 10 hours of credits in digital form - accesable through the website or through the smartphone application.
