Visas de interés nacional: Alternativa para emigrar a EEUU en 2023

Se estima que cada año, el gobierno de EEUU dispone de alrededor de 140.000 visas EB-1 y EB-2. Estas permiten aplicaciones para personas con titulaciones universitarias, o incluso el equivalente a una, a través de su experiencia profesional. Se trata de una vía muy atractiva para emigrar de forma legal y segura.

Tnacional”. La obtención de las visas dependerá del desarrollo exitoso y comprobado en diversas áreas, por parte de quien aplique. Esto quiere decir que el país tiene especial atención por quienes tengan la capacidad de demostrar su experiencia, talentos y habilidades que los hacen extraordinarios, sin exclusiones.

Las visas de interés nacional se crearon por la Ley de Inmigración en 1990, con un objetivo claro: captar a las personas más talentosas, a las mentes más brillantes y a los perfiles mejor capacitados, indistintamente de su país de origen, a fin de que se establezcan en EEUU y beneficien al país a cambio de una Green Card. Por si fuera poco, la alternativa no solo ofrece un estatus legal dentro del país, sino que también abre la puerta a una residencia permanente.

El error común en la mayoría de los inmigrantes que son rechazados ante este tipo de aplicaciones está asociado al desconocimiento y la falta de asesoría profesional. No basta con los talentos y las habilidades si se carece de planificación. Recientemente, vimos el caso de un deportista con 12 años de trayectoria comprobable, que fue suficiente para la obtención de su visa. Hoy reside en Miami y está por firmar con un equipo nacional. Para finales de 2022, EEUU albergaba alrededor de 47 millones de extranjeros, según el Center for Immigration Studies. Para los estadounidenses, esto representa un panorama positivo. Según las encuestas del Instituto Gallup, el 58% de los encuestados afirma que “es algo bueno, siempre y cuando emigren legalmente”.

As if that were not enough, the alternative not only offers legal status within the country, but also opens the door to permanent residence.

The common mistake in the majority of immigrants who are rejected before this type of applications is associated with ignorance and the lack of professional advice. Talents and skills are not enough if you lack planning. Recently, we saw the case of an athlete with 12 years of verifiable experience, which was enough to obtain his visa. Today he resides in Miami and is about to sign with a national team.

By the end of 2022, the US was home to around 47 million foreigners, according to the Center for Immigration Studies. For Americans, this represents a positive outlook. According to polls by the Gallup Institute, 58% of those surveyed affirm that “it is a good thing, as long as they emigrate legally.”
