Author talk: Peter FitzSimons Monday 4 December 10–11am at Victoria Point Library Hailed as Australia’s greatest storyteller, Peter FitzSimons is the best-selling non-fiction author known for biographies of Ned Kelly and Steve Waugh. He will be presenting his latest book, The Last Charge of the Australian Light Horse, an epic tale based on the famed Australian mounted infantry that fought in World War I. Bookings required.

Connecting Mums-to-be Session 1: Tuesday, 6 February 2024 10–11.30am at Cleveland Library Join us for a series of weekly sessions designed to connect pregnant mums and provide them with the necessary resources and support to establish a strong foundation for their child’s future language and literacy development.

Meeting four times a month, mums at any stage in their pregnancy have a place to make new friends and share joys, concerns and questions.

It is preferable the attendees sign up for and can attend all four sessions, starting at session one in the first week of the month.
