Dear Parents and Caregivers, The summer holiday is here! The end of term was not exactly what we had planned or been hoping for, with all the fun activities cancelled and the Annual Awards Ceremonies for each Year group having to be filmed and shared electronically at the last minute. The Covid pandemic reminds us that it is still present in the community. I believe that all Year 8 and Year 9 students who were

Mia Seisun of Year 12, the editor of the Stag Student newspaper, distributed the last edition for the term to students on Wednesday. She and her team of journalists have done a magnificent job ensuring that the 4th edition came to fruition during their assessment period and was available for students before the end of term. This week we have heard back from NESA with some of the Year 12 Practical achievements from the recent HSC Final Examinations. (Major Works) They are: Callback is a performance next year of the best of the best dancers from the NSW HSC Class of 2021. Talia Machet has been selected for Core Performance and is on the reserve list for Core Composition. Louis Fontaine is on the reserve list for Major Study Performance.

OnSTAGE is an evening of Drama performances in 2022 of the best of the best Drama students’ Individual Performances.

Art in Paradise 2022! Hamilton Island Art Retreat 8th April – 12th April 2022 Limited Places Available

Hamilton Island Art Retreat is an exclusive Art Retreat which is open to Elective Art students or students who are passionate about art who may not currently study art as an elective subject. Hamilton Island is one of the most magnificent destinations in Australia and Reddam House students are fortunate to be able to have the opportunity to work with the artist in residence and attend a private art lesson in the studio space on the island. The students will be involved in a range of workshops daily at different vantage points around the island such as drawing, watercolour, environmental sculptural and photography. This is an unparalleled experience to be able to create artworks in such a tropical and lush environment. Students will receive their own extensive art kit, full of materials for the trip. Students will stay in beautiful accommodation with full access to the beach and water sports. This is a must do experience for all artists!
