Press conference held on 26th November 2017 at VIP Lounge of National Press Club, Dhaka on the occasion of BIGTEX – Bangladesh Int’l Garment & Textile Machinery Expo 2017. The Press conference was leaded by Ms Fatematuj Johra, Director Marketing – Redcarpet365 Ltd along with Mr. Ahmed Imtiaz, CEO – Redcarpet365 Ltd. Mr. Md. Moazzem Hossain, Sr. Joint Secretary (Administration) - BKMEA has briefed about BKMEA’s role in this exhibition and in the Textile Industry of Bangladesh. Mr. Syed Nurul Islam, Chairman & CEO - Well Group gave his inputs about the importance of theses exhibitions and recent needs of quality manufacturers & exporters. Mr. Abdullah Al Maruf, Director Marketing – Redcarpet365 Ltd, Mr. Sougath Majumder, Director Operations – Redcarpet365 Ltd stated about the participants & products that will be displayed at the expo. Mr. Islam Riyadh, Editor & Publisher - Textile Focus has briefed about their Seminar on “Bangladesh Green Industry” moving ahead.
Mr. Ahmed, CEO of Redcarpet365 Ltd mentioned that the expo will have almost 180 stalls with products from 12 countries including Bangladesh, China, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka, Turkey at Hall 1 & Hall 2.
They also mentioned, Bangladesh is the 2nd largest apparel exporter in the world, top denim exporter to EU and has become the world's 2nd largest knitwear exporter in the world. Every 3rd European has a t-shirt made in Bangladesh on his back. Every 5th American wears jeans manufactured in Bangladesh. To keep this growth in continuation basis the Industry needs proper Machinery, Raw Materials, Yarn, Fabric, Dyes & Chemicals in regular basis.

The inauguration ceremony was headed by Barrister Manzur Alam Khan, Chairman of Redcarpet365 Ltd.
