A splendid Renaissance lady with golden curls is lightly holding a posy of flowers.
It is our welcome to all the guests in town. Not only. This symbol of freshness and spring is also one of the symbols of the important Aldo Manuzio, the Renaissance in Venice exhibition, set up at the Galleries of the Accademia, which the city has strongly supported together with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage on the occasion of the Celebrations for Aldo Manuzio’s fifth death centenary. But who was Aldo Manuzio? Easy. The man who invented modern books and the very concept of publishing.
