The faculty is committed to creating a dynamic and creative studying environment that encourages professional action and intellectual exchange of ideas and opinions for more than 170 years.
The Faculty of Architecture is a vibrant place which pulses with a variety of on-site and off-site events that engage number of students and teaching staff, but local and international partners and audience as well.
The faculty has 1152 currently enrolled students. Faculty of Architecture employs 143 full-time academic staff (129 teaching staff and 14 research staff), 18 part-time academic staff and 43 technical and administrative staff.

UBFA Bachelor of Architecture is a 3 years / 6 semesters programe accredited by the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (NEAQA), amounting to 180 ECTS, and is offered in Serbian and English. Upon completion of the programme, students are awarded the title of Bachelor of Architecture, and studies are validated for RIBA Part 1 Status. Undergraduate studies represent the first-degree studies and are conceived as a comprehensive education including a broad set of subjects related to technical, technological and social sciences, arts and humanities, providing students with the foundation for further professional and scientific development. UBFA Integrated Academic Studies β Architecture is a integrated single-cycle-5-year studies in architecture / 10 semesters programme integrating Undergraduate and Master studies in a single cycle (300 ECTS ) accredited by the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (NEAQA), and is offered in Serbian and English. Upon completion of the programme, students are awarded the title of Master of Architecture β M.Arch.
The program is structured as a study program with modules, from the third semester. It consists of two modules β Module 1 and Module 2. Module 2 is planned for realization in cooperation with Sapienza University of Rome β Faculty of Architecture (Sapienza UniversitΓ di Roma β FacoltΓ di Architettura) in form of a double degree study program β the University of Belgrade β Faculty of Architecture / Sapienza University of Rome β Faculty of Architecture.

The first part of the course is mainly related to βfamily housingβ and its transitional forms towards multi-family structures. The main goal refers to the architectural urban design of a group (or more groups) of units of family housing (i.e. housing of lower densities), which belong to a common plot or a series of individual plots or a typology of single, double or otherwise organized groups of family houses at separated parcels. Students will deal with the research of socio-cultural, and then economic, technological and environmental factors that influence the design of programs and spaces of a residential community and its surroundings.
The second part of the course refers to the research of the topic of multi-family housing through the study of specific fragments of architectural and urban projects. Conceived as an omnibus of characteristic tasks that are processed during the design of multi-family residential buildings, work on the project involves the incorporation of modern solutions into parts of architectural-urban complexes. Going through different segments of the design process, students gain knowledge about the factors relevant to the formation of an architectural solution, along with understanding the relationship between the given function and the existing values.

The first part of the course is mainly related to βfamily housingβ and its transitional forms towards multi-family structures. The main goal refers to the architectural urban design of a group (or more groups) of units of family housing (i.e. housing of lower densities), which belong to a common plot or a series of individual plots or a typology of single, double or otherwise organized groups of family houses at separated parcels. Students will deal with the research of socio-cultural, and then economic, technological and environmental factors that influence the design of programs and spaces of a residential community and its surroundings.
The second part of the course refers to the research of the topic of multi-family housing through the study of specific fragments of architectural and urban projects. Conceived as an omnibus of characteristic tasks that are processed during the design of multi-family residential buildings, work on the project involves the incorporation of modern solutions into parts of architectural-urban complexes. Going through different segments of the design process, students gain knowledge about the factors relevant to the formation of an architectural solution, along with understanding the relationship between the given function and the existing values.

The first part of the course is mainly related to βfamily housingβ and its transitional forms towards multi-family structures. The main goal refers to the architectural urban design of a group (or more groups) of units of family housing (i.e. housing of lower densities), which belong to a common plot or a series of individual plots or a typology of single, double or otherwise organized groups of family houses at separated parcels. Students will deal with the research of socio-cultural, and then economic, technological and environmental factors that influence the design of programs and spaces of a residential community and its surroundings.
The second part of the course refers to the research of the topic of multi-family housing through the study of specific fragments of architectural and urban projects. Conceived as an omnibus of characteristic tasks that are processed during the design of multi-family residential buildings, work on the project involves the incorporation of modern solutions into parts of architectural-urban complexes. Going through different segments of the design process, students gain knowledge about the factors relevant to the formation of an architectural solution, along with understanding the relationship between the given function and the existing values.

The first part of the course is mainly related to βfamily housingβ and its transitional forms towards multi-family structures. The main goal refers to the architectural urban design of a group (or more groups) of units of family housing (i.e. housing of lower densities), which belong to a common plot or a series of individual plots or a typology of single, double or otherwise organized groups of family houses at separated parcels. Students will deal with the research of socio-cultural, and then economic, technological and environmental factors that influence the design of programs and spaces of a residential community and its surroundings.
The second part of the course refers to the research of the topic of multi-family housing through the study of specific fragments of architectural and urban projects. Conceived as an omnibus of characteristic tasks that are processed during the design of multi-family residential buildings, work on the project involves the incorporation of modern solutions into parts of architectural-urban complexes. Going through different segments of the design process, students gain knowledge about the factors relevant to the formation of an architectural solution, along with understanding the relationship between the given function and the existing values.

The first part of the course is mainly related to βfamily housingβ and its transitional forms towards multi-family structures. The main goal refers to the architectural urban design of a group (or more groups) of units of family housing (i.e. housing of lower densities), which belong to a common plot or a series of individual plots or a typology of single, double or otherwise organized groups of family houses at separated parcels. Students will deal with the research of socio-cultural, and then economic, technological and environmental factors that influence the design of programs and spaces of a residential community and its surroundings.
The second part of the course refers to the research of the topic of multi-family housing through the study of specific fragments of architectural and urban projects. Conceived as an omnibus of characteristic tasks that are processed during the design of multi-family residential buildings, work on the project involves the incorporation of modern solutions into parts of architectural-urban complexes. Going through different segments of the design process, students gain knowledge about the factors relevant to the formation of an architectural solution, along with understanding the relationship between the given function and the existing values.

The first part of the course is mainly related to βfamily housingβ and its transitional forms towards multi-family structures. The main goal refers to the architectural urban design of a group (or more groups) of units of family housing (i.e. housing of lower densities), which belong to a common plot or a series of individual plots or a typology of single, double or otherwise organized groups of family houses at separated parcels. Students will deal with the research of socio-cultural, and then economic, technological and environmental factors that influence the design of programs and spaces of a residential community and its surroundings.
The second part of the course refers to the research of the topic of multi-family housing through the study of specific fragments of architectural and urban projects. Conceived as an omnibus of characteristic tasks that are processed during the design of multi-family residential buildings, work on the project involves the incorporation of modern solutions into parts of architectural-urban complexes. Going through different segments of the design process, students gain knowledge about the factors relevant to the formation of an architectural solution, along with understanding the relationship between the given function and the existing values.

The first part of the course is mainly related to βfamily housingβ and its transitional forms towards multi-family structures. The main goal refers to the architectural urban design of a group (or more groups) of units of family housing (i.e. housing of lower densities), which belong to a common plot or a series of individual plots or a typology of single, double or otherwise organized groups of family houses at separated parcels. Students will deal with the research of socio-cultural, and then economic, technological and environmental factors that influence the design of programs and spaces of a residential community and its surroundings.
The second part of the course refers to the research of the topic of multi-family housing through the study of specific fragments of architectural and urban projects. Conceived as an omnibus of characteristic tasks that are processed during the design of multi-family residential buildings, work on the project involves the incorporation of modern solutions into parts of architectural-urban complexes. Going through different segments of the design process, students gain knowledge about the factors relevant to the formation of an architectural solution, along with understanding the relationship between the given function and the existing values.

The first part of the course is mainly related to βfamily housingβ and its transitional forms towards multi-family structures. The main goal refers to the architectural urban design of a group (or more groups) of units of family housing (i.e. housing of lower densities), which belong to a common plot or a series of individual plots or a typology of single, double or otherwise organized groups of family houses at separated parcels. Students will deal with the research of socio-cultural, and then economic, technological and environmental factors that influence the design of programs and spaces of a residential community and its surroundings.
The second part of the course refers to the research of the topic of multi-family housing through the study of specific fragments of architectural and urban projects. Conceived as an omnibus of characteristic tasks that are processed during the design of multi-family residential buildings, work on the project involves the incorporation of modern solutions into parts of architectural-urban complexes. Going through different segments of the design process, students gain knowledge about the factors relevant to the formation of an architectural solution, along with understanding the relationship between the given function and the existing values.
