Concluded on June 5th, 2024, World Environment Day, at the Ramada Georgetown Princess Hotel, the competition aimed to engage secondary school students across Guyana in environmental protection and sustainability initiatives by using their voices to spark change

The competition, supported by ExxonMobil Guyana, was designed to inspire creative thinking and proactive solutions among young minds It provided an opportunity for students to showcase their talents, knowledge, and commitment to addressing environmental issues in their communities This year’s competition featured a four-phased structure, beginning with the submission of one-minute videos by students from grades nine and ten.
