The special also covers what it was like for his disciples to risk death by preaching his message, Historians, theologians and archaeologists weigh in, examining the evidence, and delve deeper into the life of Jesus and the times he lived in. 9 p.m. on (DIS) Movie: The Parent Trap Lindsay Lohan (“Life Size,” “Another World”) plays the Hayley Mills part — make that parts — in this 1998 remake of the 1961 family classic. Twins separated as babies meet at camp and decide to switch places in an effort to get their long-divorced parents (Dennis Quaid, Natasha Richardson) back together. But the clock is ticking: Dad is about to marry a thoroughly unlikable woman (Elaine Hendrix). 6

Wednesday9 p.m. on (DSC) MythBusters A special two-hour episode launches the seventh season as the Mythbusters challenge four fables about automobiles. First, they test a scene from the movie, “Speed,” when they try to make a bus take a 90-degree turn at 50 mph. Then, they re-enact a fan favorite: a two-truck head-on collision, with a car caught between them. The Mythbusters also re-create some pretty typical Hollywood crashes to see if they mirror reality.

Jean-Michel Cousteau: Ocean Adventures Killer whales, also known as orcas, have seen their numbers drop to 100,000 worldwide. Jean-Michel Cousteau and his team travel to the Northern and Southern Hemispheres seeking killer whales in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Chris Noth narrates as the team of explorers discover that humans and orcas share some characteristics.

Saturday 12 p.m. on (DIS) Movie: Herbie: Fully Loaded The classic Disney comedy “The Love Bug” yielded several sequels, but it got a full-blown remake in this 2005 update of the saga about the little car with a mind of its own. Lindsay Lohan plays an aspiring racer in a harddriving family who gets the chance to prove her stuff when she gets behind Herbie’s wheel ... but a rival (Matt Dillon) may upset their bid for glory. Michael Keaton and Justin Long also appear.
