Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Virginia | May 2021
I am passionate about leveraging my design and research skills to reveal little known or overlooked narratives that inspire empathy, ecological stewardship, and community building. I view each design project as an opportunity to communicate unique site qualities to visitors that then allow them to connect with a place and its other inhabitants by framing alternative perspectives. I am most motivated to design spaces that address racial and environmental justice, both through the provision of services, such as remediation strategies in traditionally segregated neighborhoods, and through the facilitation of conversations in primarily public spaces.
