I arrived in Los Cabos at the age of 14 when my father was called upon to oversee the opening of the Hotel Presidente in San José del Cabo.
With just 10,000 inhabitants, it had the atmosphere of a small town. Pedestrians were allowed to cross at every corner, and groceries had to be purchased at different places to complete the list.
From a young age, I understood that to enjoy life here, I had to love the beach and the mountains, with all that entails. I also learned to take advantage of our strong waves on a surfboard, which became one of my passions, one that I continue to practice at every sunrise. This allows me to start the day focused and organize my activities well. I also learned how to avoid thorns, jellyfish, and how to get my vehicle out when it got stuck on sandy roads.
At the age of 19, I went to Guadalajara to study a degree in Graphic Design at UAG. Upon completion, I decided to return to Los Cabos. Alongside my wife Rosaura Rodríguez, a professional photographer, we wanted to see our children grow up in Los Cabos. It was in 1996 when we opened the first internet server “1°.Cabonet” in the region and also started an advertising agency
Upon my return, I confirmed that Los Cabos is a wonderful place to live, and I wanted to be a host to the place I saw grow. There are many attractions in this area. Some would say it’s because of the perfect climate, warm waters, and privileged beaches; others argue that it’s the abundance of outdoor activities or the family atmosphere. What is certain is that it is strategically located two hours by flight from California, it is one of the safest places in Mexico, and it is an area that makes sense to invest in.
This is how I became an independent Real Estate Broker, which allows me, unlike a sales agent, to show any option without prejudice. I can suggest based on the client’s needs, without preference for my profit. There is so much to do in Los Cabos that it’s a waste of time looking at properties that are not what you are looking for!
Since then, I have not stopped working. As of the date (March 2024), I have completed 280 house sales, 170 condominiums, and 95 commercial lots.
