JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
ainR couldn't hold back the smiles and excitement for the 96 Drive, Chip & Putt competitors at Quail Hollow Club in mid September. Just two weeks before hosting the 2022 Presidents Cup, Quail Hollow made it a mission to be the stepping stone to Augusta National for the National Finals. This was Quail Hollow’s second time hosting the Drive, Chip & Putt Regional Qualifier. Participants from Tennessee, Georgia, & the Carolinas got to experience a bit of the famous Green Mile with the driving skill on the 16th hole, and putting skill on the beautiful 18th green. Putting conditions were good for the two Carolinians advancing to the National Finals, Minlin Ou (Girls 7-9 winner) & Slater Meade (Boys 12-13 winner). The two had a nearly

Junior Champions Rise
heT Carolinas PGA hosted both the Carolinas Girls and Boys Junior PGA Championships in 2022. Bryan Fang came out on top of the field to take home both the title, and a spot in the national Junior PGA Championship at Cog Hill. Charles Howden took home the second spot in the national tournament after a nail biting playoff. On the girls side, the event saw a record number of sixty-six girls in the field. Elizabeth Rudisill took home the top prize for the second year in row. Both Elizabeth and runner-up, Grace Ridenour, earned a spot to compete in the national tournament as well.
32ND CHARLES TILGHMAN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
heT 2022 Charles Tilghman Junior Championship was held once again at Surf Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach. In it's 32nd year, the field featured 90 of the top junior players across the Carolinas. Taking home the top prize in the Boys Division was Steven Shea of Charlotte, NC who finished at 6-under par. In the Girls Division, Mia Andrade of Chapin, SC secured her win with a total of 7-over par.
