Municipal Corporation: Administration of big cities Municipality: Administration of small cities (BELAGAVI) Notified Area Committee: Administration of fast developing industrial town and important notified town which is not a municipality Town Area Committee: Administration of small towns Cantonment Board: Administration for civilian population in the military cantonment areas (BELAGAVI) Township: Established by large public enterprises to provide civic amenities to its staff and workers, who live in the housing colonies built near the plant Port Trust: Established in the port areas like Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai etc for managing ports and providing civic amenities Special Purpose Agency: These are function based, not area based.

The 1st collaborative LAP was carried out with our institutional partner, Sushant School of Art & Architecture, Ansal University, Gurugram. The LAP's were developed while engaging with the local urban bodies, MTA's, RWA's, NGO's and the citizen's of Delhi. IUDI DNCR thank our team Suruchi Modi, Thiruvengadum R B and Sameer Chadha for leading this interactive outreach program and generate awareness and make the citizens a part of city's development process.
