A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT A LETTER TO OUR MEMBERS Dear HFMADV Members,, Wow! A year has passed, and it feels as if it was yesterday when I became the President of the Delaware Valley Chapter. I am extremely proud to be a part of one of the finest Healthcare Facility Managers Associations in the Country. This year we’ve continued to sell out our Spring and Fall Conferences, golf outing, certification classes such as fire door safety, environmental worker, CHC & CHFM prep, hazwhopper, DOT and OSHA. We’ve also continued to have amazing speakers and turn-outs at our monthly meetings at the Radisson in Trevose, PA.

Looking back this year we lost some of our friends, partners, ASHE members and one of our long-time board members. However, we continue to grow and accept new Business Partners and Healthcare Members to our family. This chapter has grown tremendously and the support from our members is remarkable. With constant alterations in our industry, we encourage members to keep up with these changes via our educational sessions at our monthly meetings and annual conferences. By keeping up on healthcare codes and regulations, Joint Commission and State Inspections, we as healthcare professionals make ourselves and our facilities a better place to work and visit. A big thank you to all our Business Partners for supporting these changes and allowing us to learn the ins and outs of each trade. We are truly becoming one of the greatest regions in healthcare. Lastly, as I enter my final year as your President - to the Executive Board, Business Partners, and Healthcare Members - thank you for your continued support. I am honored to have had the opportunity to be your President.
