ART & CULINARY COMPLEX
The Spirit of Capital Hill
[abridged]
Spring 2013 | Seattle, Wa | Kevin Talbari + Tom Maul
Located in the heart of one of Seattle’s most vibrant entertainment district and juxtaposed to Seattle University, the Art & Culinary Complex seeks to bring some of Capital Hill’s most notable commercial scenes into an informational and explorative spatial experience. Referencing the explorative nature of the neighboring Piston+Ring building, this complex is designed to entice pedestrians to wander trough a series of outdoor public corridors that will take them trough different stages of the art and culinary profession. PARTNER: Eric Susanto (Collaborative effort in both site and building design)
