PATHWAYS
There are four pathways under the transfer program for Career and College Promise: Associate in Arts, Associate in Engineering, Associate in Fine Arts and Associate in Science.
▶ The Associate in Arts pathway is designed for students who wish to begin study toward the Associate in Arts degree and a baccalaureate degree in non-STEM majors.
▶ The Associate in Engineering pathway is designed for students who wish to begin study toward the Associate in Engineering degree and a baccalaureate degree in a STEM or technical major.
▶ The Associate in Fine Arts pathway is designed for students who which to begin study toward the Associate in Fine Arts degree and a baccalaureate degree in Fine Arts.
▶ The Associate in Science pathway is designed for students who wish to begin study toward the Associate in Science degree and a baccalaureate degree in a STEM or technical major.

eligible for enrollment in a College Transfer Pathway, students must demonstrate college readiness in English, reading, and mathematics on an approved test or tests. Eligibility may be demonstrated by achieving the required scores on a single test o r by combining test scores from any of approved assessments. For example, a student may combine a 19 on PLAN math with an 86 and an Accuplacer sentence skills and reading to demonstrate college readiness.
Other exemptions might be possible. Please check with your high school counselor to check on these exemptions.
ASSOCIATE IN ARTS (P1012C)
Available at North and South Campus and online.
General Education (31-32 Credits)
The general education requirement includes study in courses selected from the Universal General Education Transfer Component (UGETC) of the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA). All Universal General Education Transfer Component courses in which the student earns a grade of “C” or better will transfer for equivalency credit up to the distribution limits detailed in the CAA.
Course Title Credits
High school students in the CCP College Transfer Pathway Leading to the Associate in Arts must complete the entire pathway before taking additional courses in the Associate in Arts degree with the exception of mathematics courses beyond MAT 171 in the Associate in Arts.
OPTIONAL GENERAL EDUCATION HOURS (0-8 Credits)
A student may take up to 8 credits of foreign language courses and accompanying labs, in a single language, designated as General Education in the CAA as a part of this pathway. These courses are not a part of the Universal General Education Transfer Component. Students who complete these courses with a grade of “C” or better will receive transfer credit. The receiving university will determine whether the courses will count as general education, pre-major, or elective credit.
*These classes have pre-requisites that must be taken prior to this class.
ASSOCIATE IN ENGINEERING (PP1052C)
Available at North and South Campus and online.
General Education (28 Credits)
The general education requirement includes study in courses selected from the Universal General Education Transfer Component (UGETC) of the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA). All Universal General Education Transfer Component courses in which the student earns a grade of “C” or better will transfer for equivalency credit up to the distribution limits detailed in the CAA.

A student may take up to 8 credits of foreign language courses and accompanying labs, in a single language, designated as General Education in the CAA as a part of this pathway. Take two courses from the following list from two different subjects
High school students in the CCP College Transfer Pathway leading to the Associate in Fine Arts in Visual Arts must complete the entire pathway before taking additional courses in the Associate in Fine Arts in Visual Arts degree.
OPTIONAL GENERAL EDUCATION HOURS (0-8 Credits)
A student may take up to 8 credits of foreign language courses and accompanying labs, in a single language, designated as General Education in the CAA as a part of this pathway. These courses are not a part of the Universal General Education Transfer Component. Students who complete these courses with a grade of “C” or better will receive transfer credit.
