Financial Aid
Financial aid is available in various forms of grants and scholarships. Apply for financial aid at www.studentaid.gov to determine your eligibility for federal and state aid. Over 50% of students are eligible for aid and receive a refund that can be used for other expenses related to their education.

University Transfer
Starting off at a large four-year institution may not be the right choice for every student. Whether you want to save money, live closer to home, enhance your study and learning skills, or enjoy the perks of studying at a smaller institution, Rowan-Cabarrus transfer programs are an excellent way to begin your university journey. In addition to the statewide partnership agreements between North Carolina’s community colleges and the UNC system, Rowan-Cabarrus has additional transfer agreements in place.
Rowan-Cabarrus works closely with many four-year universities to provide seamless transfer opportunities for students. In addition to identifying the exact classes students need to take while at Rowan-Cabarrus, many of these opportunities provide guaranteed funding for transfer students.
