Thin-R Pitched Roof XT/PR on sloped roofs (ventilated, hybrid or warm) provides the most efficient U-Values with minimal intrusion into valuable living space. The roof construction is a critical element in the building fabric and is an area at high risk of heat loss. Using XT/PR will reduce heat loss while also delivering excellent thermal bridging details.
Warm Roof construction is a particularly effective way of insulating complex roofs. Insulating above – or above and between – the roof timbers ensures that the structure is kept at or near the internal environmental conditions, reducing thermal stress and condensation risk.

Easy and quick to install: Manufactured to allow for quick and easy installation
Superglass Multi-Roll 44 is lightweight, non-combustible glass mineral wool insulation roll. Multi-Roll 44 is primarily used as thermal insulation in new and existing lofts/cold roofs. However, it can be used in a number of other applications including suspended timber ground floors. When used in the loft/cold roof it can be installed between and over the joists. The flexible roll is perforated to allow easy installation between common joist spacings and minimum on-site cutting and waste.
Typical U-Values used in cold roofs using Superglass Multi-Roll and Handy Pack
Calculated using 600mm timber joist centres (9% bridging)
Delivering either A1 or A2, s1-d0 Euroclass reaction to fire, ROCKWOOL® stone wool is a robust and durable specification which provides additional acoustic and thermal benefits.
