How to get into the website shop editor

 Scroll to the bottom of any page of the website

 Click on the icon in the bottom right corner of the page

 You will be asked for username and password. Enter them as below and click Log In

o Username marketing@roofbase.com

o Password cZnw9nfa

 The website is now in edit mode

 At the bottom of the page, you will see a row of icons the toolbar). Click on the cog icon.

 The‘Panels’pop-up box will appear. Click on ‘Shop admin’

 Click on Categories, and you will see all the categories for the training course. This is the starting point for adding, changing, and deleting courses.

Adding a new training course

 Go to‘categories.’Scroll down and click on‘Course Templates.’This holds a template of each of the current training courses.

 Click‘Copy’next to the course type you want to add (e.g. EPDM Training Course Roofbase Swansea 28th May)

 A‘New product details’box will appear. This will be the new course that you want to add

 Change the branch and date to the new course

 Click on the drop-down box against‘Category’and select‘All Training Courses’

 Click‘Copy’

 You are now taken to the course details, and you can edit the details for the new course.

Editing the new course details

The name of the course will be correct, as you have just created that. The following fields will need to be changed

 Summary – change the branch and date

 Search engine optimisation Title – Change the branch

 Search engine optimisation Description – Change the branch and date

 Availability Current stock – change to number of places available

 Related products Related products – click the drop down and select a course that is at the same branch. Click‘add.’ Repeat for all courses at that branch.

 Categories Categories – the course is already in the‘Training Courses’ category. You also need to add it to the relevant branch category and the relevant course category. To do this, click on the drop down, select the relevant branch and click ‘add.’ Repeat this for the relevant course category.

 Click‘Save’

 You course is now added and will show on the website

Adding the new course as a‘Related Product’to other courses in that branch

 In‘categories’click on the relevant branch

 Starting with the first course, click on the‘Edit’button

 Scroll down to the‘Related products box.

 Click the drop-down menu, find the new course, click on it, and click‘Add’

 Click on‘Save’

Changing details of an existing course

 Go to‘categories’and click on the branch or course category that the course you want to edit will be in.

 Click on the ‘Edit’button next to the course you want to edit.

 Make the relevant changes. If you are editing the date, remember to change it in:

o Name

o Summary

o Search engine optimisation Description

 When all changes have been made, click on‘save’at the bottom of the page.

Deleting a course

 Go to‘categories’and click on the branch or course category that the course you want to delete will be in.

 Click on the ‘Delete’button next to the course you want to edit.

 Click on‘OK’in the pop-up message

 Click‘save’

Changing the order ofcourses

When you add a new course, it will show at the end of the courses on the booking page of the website. (such as this page https://www.roofbasetraining.com/webshop/roofbase-leicester-training-courses/)

To change the order, into date order for instance:

 Go to categories and select the category that you want to change the order of.

 For each course you want to move, click on the double arrow icon on the left. Hold your mouse and drag the course to its new position.

 Repeat for all courses you want to move

 Click on Save.

 Remember that each course will be in three categories, so you may need to repeat the above for the other categories.
