In order to bind together new development areas with the existing context we propose Blue Loop: a new environmental, recreational and infrastructural system. Blue Loop is a new territorial landmark. It is a destination but also a key spatial structure for the new urbanization processes taking place in the area. As a continuous green and blue park this system enhances local biodiversity and water resilient effectiveness for the territory. It also provides open air activity and recreational areas for its new incoming inhabitants.

Blue Loop is characterized by four different park/environmental conditions. The West features aqua-cultures, fishfarming fields and large water surfaces. The South features the presence of the new waste to energy power plant ‘Energia’ and the ‘Innovation Valley’. Towards the East, the park embraces existing agricultural areas and the North crosses Fenhu Lake as a main recreational destination. Moreover the Blue Loop

connects directly with UNESCOs Heritage water town of Xitang.

As a continuous yet diversified system, the new linear park offers multiple experiences to the users, and also offers new perceptions of rural and pastoral landscapes thanks to the introduction of new bicycle lanes and water ways, new bridges and recreational facilities.

The park will respond to different target groups according to each segment and each destination.

We want to address the variety of citizens and users that will benefit from the new development: 1. Local farmers and inhabitants of the vicinity.

2. New workers of the ‘Innovation Valley’ and ‘Energia’.

3. Tourists from Xitang that will include Blue Loop amongst their new destinations.

4. New inhabitants of the water towns.

5. Visitors of the Fenhu Lake water park.

6. Visitors of the Formula E competitions.

PROJECT C SIXTY6 TOWER

Reshaping the skyline of Cyprus Pininfarina makes its debut in Cyprus, contributing to the evolution of its skyline through a residential tower designed for the prestigious local developer Singularis.

Sixty6 Tower by Pininfarina, awarded the 2020 International Architecture Award, follows the success achieved by the company in the residential field expressed by a portfolio of developments including Vitra and Cyrela by Pininfarina.

The International Architecture Awards represent the world’s oldest and largest global awards program.

Held by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design in conjunction with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, the Awards are regarded as a globally significant mark of excellence in architecture. Sixty6 Tower by Pininfarina left no doubt in the

jury’s mind, who were composed of prestigious architects, critics, and architecture academics, who selected the project among over 400 submissions from 38 different countries.

A 360 Panoramic Experience Sixty6 Tower by Pininfarina was designed in image and likeness of Cyprus. The building is a 17-floors residential tower inspired by the layering of the sandstone cliffs, typical of Cyprus coasts, and by the history of the island, rich and unique thanks to the stratification of different cultures.

The elliptical shape of the building allows the sea view from all the apartments enhanced by the external glass walls making the sky and the sea entering into the apartments. The spacious balconies, moreover, beyond permitting to enjoy the extraordinary Cyprus climate, represent both an aesthetic

element giving personality to the project and a functional one as they control the solar radiation.

The uniqueness of the exteriors is matched by the refinement of the interiors. The building hosts three typical floors with apartment of different dimensions and a luxurious penthouse enriched by gardens. The experience is completed by the possibility to enjoy a gym and a spa with an external swimming pool.

Living the sea seamlessly The goal of the Pininfarina architects was to conceive a new way to experience and enjoy the sea life through architecture and new technologies. The development will surge in Limassol and will occupy a gross floor area of 12,247 square meters. The architectural model of the project has been presented

by Pininfarina at the MIPIM international property event hosted in Cannes.

The project take his strength from the land: CYPRUS. Thus the building miming this historical heritage through balconies giving a vibrant, stratified, unique effect.

The mall have been conceived as an open public space. The aim is to provide the visitors with a urban experience which combines a typical arabic urban pattern with an unusual mall concept.

The built area have been spread in several volumes all organized around a hierarchic series of plazas.

This configuration generates a continuity of in-between spaces properly protected by the iconic canopy.

The complex have been spread in four mixed-use clusters. This solution gives the possibility to easily extend the mall with additional independent clusters.

Such unusual way to intend a mall

make the complex expandable and revolutionate the typical frontback model.

The clusters shape is inspired to the arabic crescent which embraces both the space and the visitors.

Wadi Principles The new Medina Mall takes inspiration from the local’s identity.

As the wadi make desert-like areas livable places around them, the public space is organized around the cluster’s crescents. Empty spaces between them have many roles - mobility, recreation, social interaction etc. - and are all based on human well-being principles.

Green and water features make the space pleasant to remain in.

CLOUD HUB RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

At the hearth of the vibrant Jumeirah Village Circle district, Pininfarina Architecture designed an iconic, multi-pourposed building that will integrate both co-living and co-working spaces open both to expat and to local communities.

Cloud Hub is the perfect blend of community, convenience, comfort and competitivelypriced, where both expats and locals can enjoy the vibes coming from the interaction of traditional and international cultures. Looking at the Expo

theme, Connecting Minds, Creating the Future, the project aims at fostering interaction among young generations, creating a community hub fueled by ideals of openness, community and collaboration.

The heart of the project is the Cloud Lounge on the ground floor; a mixed use space where people can work, but also where people can spend their spare time relaxing, reading a book or having a chat with their neighbors in a dynamic and creative environment. Free access even for non-residents will help to transform it in a trendy spot in the JVC district.

The L-shape building hosts 60 apartments; 4 unit types fits the different users needs. All the units, apart from featuring all the comforts available, allow the tenants to enjoy the natural light thanks to large glazed facades that visually merge the internal space with the external balconies. The articulation of the facade is characterized by a pattern of alternating GFRC panels (reinforced concrete with glass fiber), manufactured using digital molding processes and glass panels.

The new Vilnius Concert Hall has been imagined as a cultural hub for the future of Vilnius but also as an opportunity to revitalize the entire city. The project aims to design a modern space in Vilnius, which would contain a hall suitable for symphony concerts, entertainment activities and leisure time activities.

The Concert Hall could be seen as an envelope that encloses the two concert spaces and the annexed functions. The building, mostly solid and massive, on the main north front opens a huge window characterized by a prismatic tessellation that gives it a very strong identity. This glazed front provides the physical connection

with the city, merging the new building with the hill below and with the most important focal points of the urban net from which it becomes visible.

Internally, the building is conceived as a vehicle to dialogue with the visitors where all the functions are combined to create a vibrant intellectual space.

The inner piazza becomes a social heart of the building which provides a place for impromptu, temporary exhibitions and performances and aims to increase interaction between the people and the artists.

From there the guest can ascend to main and small halls, first walking through the two foyers, one for each hall.

PROJECT G HIGOLD HEADQUARTERS CLIENT : Higold LOCATION: Shunde, China YEAR: 2017

A unique style Higold Headquarter, which will rise in Shunde, is an iconic, elegant complex where architectural elements, public spaces and products are integrated in a unique, strong identity. Pininfarina Architecture has authored the whole architectural project, from the facade design to the landscape.

The power of connection The project takes its origin from the connection between two buildings – the main one dedicated to the offices and the other one used as a guesthouse – drawing inspiration from a poetic concept: a mother leading the way to her child, supporting him during the first steps of his life. The extension

of the mother’s arm that reaches the child’s hand has been the driving element of the whole project, focused on the creation of a connection bridge. The iconicity of the building is enhanced by curtain walls that create a more shaded effect outwardly, thanks to a glazed double skin, and a more transparent surface internally.

This ensures, not only a better privacy for the executive offices, but also a great energy saving thanks to the air ventilation in the double skin that reduces the heating/cooling demand during all year. Nature is a focal point of the project, as demonstrated by an accurate landscape design, that penetrates the building itself. The "green" is a crucial architectural

element that plays an important role in the perception of this office complex. The external green boundaries softly introduce visitors to the core areas of the property.

Once inside, small suspended gardens, floating on water features, like lotus flowers, lead to the main lobbies that are located underneath the iconic linking element of the project: a glazed cantilever that protects the main entrance and hosts a spectacular outdoor green showroom on the roof.

A strong identify The new Higold Headquarter is the first Pininfarina architectural project in China, conceived to be a full expression of the company’s key values: Creativity and Leadership.

Elegance and Well-being Elegance, Technology and Wellbeing are the cornerstones that inspired Pininfarina in the design of this new luxury residential complex realized for the Spanish developer Excem Real Estate, converging luxury living and superior services with particular attention to global environment and personal health.

This project, the first building designed by Pininfarina in Spain, includes the construction of 38 exclusive residential units sized from 250 to 550m2 with very low density and very high quality, in line with the vision that the Estepona City Hall has outlined to improve quality of life for its citizens. The residential units will be designed according to the BREEAM and WELL criteria, promoting health and wellbeing among the residents.

Creating luxury through sustainable choices As the effects of climate change starts to visibly affect living conditions globally, consumers are currently moving towards more sustainable lifestyle choices, reinventing their lives to minimize

their environmental footprint.

Indeed, this project includes a 20.000 m2 zone of luxuriant green surrounding the 3.000 m2 residential plot, thus contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint.

The living experiencia within is maximized by incorporating nature into the building and integrating wellness-related technologies, regulating lighting according to the circadian rhythm and guaranteeing indoor air quality control and water purification. The technology also allows a seamless home control, multiroom audio, security, surveillance and beyond, providing real-time situational data, education on matters of health and wellness, and automation to optimize the indoor environment.

Among the main features of the building, the "Atrium" is characterized by an imposing 16m high-ceilinged lobby, with a unique view of both the sea and mountains that can be enjoyed from the exclusive terrace with an infinity pool, allowing residents to live the amazing experience of the Mediterranean sunsets.

As part of WIDE – WIne DEsign project - Pininfarina and Pratum Coller, biodiversity friendly agricultural society, joined forces to give life to an innovative winery with the goal of producing high quality wines in a sustainable way and becoming anattraction pole in the territory.

The building was conceived to be integrated harmoniously in the natural environment maintaining, at the same time, its stylistic personality characterized by an unmistakable formal elegance.

The new Winery will become the Icon, the image of the company willing to grow renewing also its manufacturing plant and its distribution.

The design is characterized by an extreme stylistic simplicity; the building is made of a monolithic volume covered by a pattern in which a wooden skin is alternated with transparent splits.

The facade design finds inspiration in the geometric shapes created by the rows of grape on the ridges of the cultivated hills. The wood construction technique will increase the internal comfort and the energetic efficiency.

"The new Pratum Coller Winery is our way to emphasize the territory with a project able to enhance the area in a sustainable way", affirmed Andrea Pirlo, Chairman of Pratum Coller.

VINFAST BOOTH

Tradition and modernity in a work of art A unique 360 palette of services Vinfast made its debut in great style at the Paris Motor Show with a booth entirely designed by Pininfarina. The project is part of a 360 partnership aimed at creating a unique customer experience across different touchpoints.

Pininfarina was indeed in charge to design the vehicles exposed in the booth – LUX A2.0 sedan and LUX SA2.0 SUV -, develop a specific brand identity, and extend the design language up to the go-tomarket phase.

booth. A space highly iconic, powerful and magnetic which allows the cars to be unveiled as in a theatrical scene behind modern drapes. The booth wants to be a bespoke design piece for the cars.

Continuous screen are merged with sinuses shapes creating an immersive space where VinFast is perceived as the Vietnamese Hero.

Moreover, two rings floating high above the cars are designed to catch visitors attention from far and disappear once closer. The red lacquered color links the guest to the Vietnamese tradition, while the white emphasize the technological aspects of the Country.

The rise of a firm identity Being VinFast a brand-new car company developing its first own range of world-class vehicles, Pininfarina has defined for them a recognizable brand identity and developed a specific design language that you will find in all the next VinFast models, such as the unique V logo in the grille, which references the country of Vietnam, as well as the Vingroup and VinFast brands.

PROJECT K BOBIC&MARMOR BOOTH CLIENT : BOBIC&MARMOR LOCATION: Monaco Yacht Show YEAR: 2017

The challenge: to design the extraordinary and to make it real When you can control the matter, your soul knows no limits in creation. You can shape your dreams, giving life to extraordinary experiences. This was the goal of the marriage between Bobic Yacht Interior and Marmor Hotavlje. Shaping an immersive cocoon experience thanks to their expertise in crafting two noble materials: the wood and the stone.

Pininfarina Architecture was called to challenge their abilities: designing the extraodinary to let them make it real.

The harmony of the oppositions The result, to be unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show, is a space able to caress you and to make you live different sensations. Cold and warm, rigid and soft, light and dark. Are you entering the saloon of a superyacht? The cabin of a private jet? Or the living room of a luxury villa? The noble elegance of the stone – masterfully crafted

by Marmor Hotavlje – welcomes you in the entrance and soon, surprisingly, melts with the wood – skillfully shaped by Bobic – to invite you to proceed the journey.

The fluidity of the walls lead you naturally at the center of the space where you will find the heart: a sculptural desk made of stone and wood. A pulsating heart originating the whole structure.

PROJECT L PRINCESS R35 CLIENT : Princess Yacht LOCATION: Plymouth, UK YEAR: 2018

The R35 was born under the imperatives of innovation and revolution, able to combine astonishing design, unmatched quality, and advanced technologies to deliver a completely unique experience. Princess’s R35 stands with pioneering spirit as the progenitor which opens up a new era for the company’s product offering and the yacht market as a whole.

The exteriors of the R35 have been designed by Pininfarina which, for this project, looked at its origins towards the obsessive attention for aerodynamics of its founder, Battista "Pinin" Farina, who shaped the DNA of the company, based on pure and elegant lines traced at service of speed and performance.

always be integrated with function.

Following this approach Pininfarina created and optimized by means of the latest Computational Fluid Dynamics techniques, forms shaped by the wind, introducing air intakes in the yacht bulwark with a dual purpose: functional, as they collect air for the engines and operates as air-ejector systems that blow away tail vortex improving aerodynamic behavior, and aesthetic as the wing that covers the air intakes shapes the boat deadwork becoming the real mark of the project turning it in a new icon. Princess and Pininfarina share common values as the continuous search for beauty and innovation. The first-born of this exclusive collaboration was crafted to be the best in class. A R-evolution in the sector.
