DESCRIPTION
This residential complex deals with design approach to complex form generation and embracing the complexity of architectural design
The design project is a combination of pre-existing living units, combined in order at the peripheries of the project that later created the chaos within the project. This project we embrace the chaos that comes with the order of architectural design.
The design atelier was in coordination with computational studio to finalize the best approach to units organization and innovative design solutions using parametric architecture

Grasshopper was initially employed in conjunction with Rhino to explore various unit compositions. Subsequently, it played a crucial role in the quest for specific design solutions for the central structure. Multiple algorithms were developed throughout the design process to discern the optimal design solution that aligns seamlessly with the project's overarching concept.

The project involved the revitalization of the former Thyssenkrupp factory near Vallette-Turin, spanning an impressive 145,000 square meters. This abandoned industrial space presented a unique and promising canvas for creative transformation.
The objective was to establish an Innovation Design and Art Hub, injecting not only new-found vitality into the area but also enhancing its physical, architectural, and urban appeal. This ambitious endeavour promised to deliver significant financial benefits as well, contributing to the region's economic growth.
The design atelier was in parallel with the "Real Estate Appraisal studio to contextualize the project in a the real estate market. The studio composed of SWOT & STEEP analysis of the project area as well as Stakeholders Analysis and most importantly a financial analysis of the overall incomes and outcomes of the project includ
ing building and constructions costs as well as revenues. A detailed report of the analysis was also made by the end of the project •
The concept was to embrace the clash of the industrial aspect of the factory and the natural greenery of the surrounding (The park & River).
The project translate that through the roughness of the buildings masses with the softness of the green roofs connecting all the project together internally and with the outside. The green roofs increase the creative and innovative connectivity between the users and are accessible from different points on the project to intrigue users to have multipliable different activities.
POD DELLA VITA
Residential Dwelling, reversing localistic isolation... Within Aosta lies the oldest social housing for steel workers, which defines the former industrial paternalism of Cogne Valley that now suffer from localistic isolation
The design intervention was to provide a partially-timber constructed living unites for the residents of the area to be used as an additional space to be used - long-term or temporarily- by the resident of the apartment themselves or for visiting family members

Prefabricated pods are stacked on site
Timber frame made of Fir wood, placed at 80 cm spans, manufactured in locally in Aosta

Minimal intervention has been made to the original buildings due to the fragile condition of the structure, with minimal demolitions and additions are made in consideration of the existing load-bearing structure.
Existing Building
Reinforced concrete skeletal system
Intermediate Platform
Steel UPN posts and beams independent structure
The stacking of the pods reveal the power of Aosta's manufacturing and industrial background, and through increasing the density with minimal intervention on the existing building, this neighbourhood will pose as an exemplary architype for surrounding spaces, this will encourage temporary and long stay visitors to stay within these space and Aosta. Thus reversing localistic isolation.
The added living unites are completely dependent structures from the original buildings
The design atelier worked in parallel to a the architectural construction atelier with main focus on thermal insulation and thermal bridges

ARCHICAD . 3DS MAX . CORONA
The concept behind the project was to form masses in a way that creates a void at the heart of the building to allow for air flow and sunlight, as well as provide terrace areas to enjoy the garden view. At the ground level the goal was to provide a spacious space to give a wide visual field when entering and give a view to all parts of the design.
The concept behind this project was centred around the client's request create the biggest space for outdoor garden. My role was to conceptualize and outlines the main design scheme, create the overall design set for the client and for permit, adjust design outcomes throughout the different design phases and according to the senior architect recommendations as well as the client almokashfi
soba barn guest house ISKAN ARCHITECTS . KHARTOUM | SUDAN . COLLABORATIVE 2020
DESCRIPTION
This project is located in the middle of a farm in soba district. The most challenging aspect was the use of materials and elements that are very unique and the complexity of trying to fit the project with respect to the already existing environment.
I was responsible for preparing the construction set and organizing and arranging the use of the Revit software for the team in trying to find the most efficient and accurate use for the BIM technology
The project consisted of 2 main truss buildings connected by a brick structure. as well as different types of glass doors and windows and various shutter system mainly for security. I worked closely with senior project architect to realize these details with coordination with the suppliers and delegation to the junior drafter
Delta pack offices
ISKAN ARCHITECTS . KHARTOUM | SUDAN . COLLABORATIVE COMPLETED . 2019
DESCRIPTION
This unique project is a reflection of the special identity of Delta Pack, by getting back to the raw materials which are the core of its industry by reusing this specific company's warehouse into the marketing and advertisement offices of the company.
The progress of the project was followed by me as part of the construction team throughout all of its phases. Due to the utilization of numerous unique materials and innovative design approaches, a keen focus on small details was deemed crucial. Coordination between the site work and the necessary construction documents, from the inception of construction, as well as coordination between suppliers and the project quantity surveyor, was facilitated by me.
The martyr’s square
SUDAN THROUGH THE EYES OF ARCHITECTS . KHARTOUM | SUDAN . COLLABORATIVE . 2019
This project is a dedication for the Sudanese revolution of December 2018 that nurtured the many positive aspects of an ordinary Sudanese being . District areas were considered a negative space located in the middle of the neighbourhood due to the dis-functional usage of it. Storm-water also become a shelter for mosquito eggs and diseases. This is why we focused on altering such negative space into a welcoming efficient space.
Street art flourished with artists craving creative spaces for their work and exhibitions. Political speeches gained prominence during the uprising due to the previous government's harsh suppression of such events. Leading to new-found freedoms post-revolution for diverse activities like outdoor movie screenings and girls taking up bike riding.
CONCEPT
The concept behind this square is to create as much as possible of an open area in the middle of a dense neighbourhood. Creating a central space that promotes relaxation, discovery and active and passive engagement, while keeping the more dynamic functionalities at the perimeters to give a more enclosed form. The sole structure in this space acts as a connective element between all activities, providing a descent amount of shade while mainly depending on trees as the main source of shade.
All pictures were taken by Sudanese citizens during the Qyada sit-in of 2019 from around Khartoum city.

TORINOSTRATOSFERICA . TURIN | ITALY . TEAMWORK . 2023
DESCRIPTION The renovated Corso Farini is the result of an initiative led by #Stratosferica —a social enterprise— in collaboration with the City of Turin's Department for Urban Greenery and the support of Cities4Forests. This new public space made of benches, tables, seats, planters and even a stage, is located near the iconic gasometer and the University Campus. I was part of the team in charge of building and assembling the different elements of the space, as well as assist in the overall regeneration of the public space.
