1.Merging with the landform Term : 4th Semester | 2nd year | Academic Type : Friction of Landscape Guided by : Advaita jalan and Pratyush shankar The studio will comprise of identical design problem (of equal duration) that are located in three contrasting landscape setting in and around urban areas. The students will be asked to develop an architectural design as a response to these setting. Aprogram for Air Pollution Research Centre will become the vehicle to explore the design. problem The design problem is set in three different landscape conditions: 1. Sea Coast: Khambhat 2. Forest: Jambughoda 3. Hilly and Rocky Terrain: Sabli its buildings following the natural contours of the hills

Modularity in Human Comfort Term : 5th Semester | 3rd year | Academic Type : Habitable modularity Guided by : Anjal patel The first part of the studio focuses on Modularity in Architecture and it’s varied applications as adesign methodology. The second part is to design housing in the dense fabric of the old city ofAnand, Gujarat. The design process involves addressing the specific requirements of users andresponding to immediate site conditions by considering contextual appropriateness.

The project is to design Housing for a minimum of 3 or a maximum of 5 different families.

Neil Morris, a psychologist at the University of Wolverhampton, He found out that bathing every day before going to sleep increased the optimism of his subjects. According to him, taking a bath is a good way to stop the time in our hectic lives, while the bath and hot water give us a womb-like isolation and comfort.
