1. Subscribers of £5.00 upwards will received one free admission ticket
2. Owners of exhibited Stock and those in attendance must pay admission unless a member of the Society subscribing at least £5.00 when admission is free.
3. All animals must have been the bona-fide property of the Exhibitor three months previous to the Show.
4. All Sheep must be kept in uncovered pens provided.
5. All entries in Special Classes must be paid for except where otherwise stated.
6. Sheep must be penned not later than 9.30am on the morning of the Show. Judging commences at 10.00am. No stock to be taken from the Showground before 4.00pm without permission from the Secretary.
7. Any objection to be lodged with the Secretary in writing on the day of the Show together with a deposit of £1 which will be returned if the objection is sustained. All disputes to be settled by the committee whose decision shall be final, and legally binding to all parties.
8. All entries of stock are accepted on condition that the Exhibitor is responsible for all damage caused by his Stock.
9. The Committee will not be responsible for any accident to spectator, stallholder, exhibitor, and competitor or anyone on the Showground but will do everything possible to make provision for the safety and comfort of all concerned.
10. All prize animals to be paraded.
11. All Special Classes to be entered for unless otherwise stated.
12. All entries in Special Classes must have been shown in Society Classes unless otherwise stated.
13. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE PAID AT TIME OF ENTRY AND MUST FOLLOW TELEPHONE ENTRIES.
14. Prize money will be paid on Show Day immediately following the Presentation of Trophies with the exception of the Sheepdog Trials.
15. Any competitor qualifying for the free admission to the Showground must produce a ticket, otherwise pay full admission and claim a refund from the Secretary.
16. All matters in dispute shall be referred to the Committee, whose decision shall be final and binding Upon all parties interested, and any person or persons refusing to abide by such a decision, or Appealing to a Court of Law to recover any amount of any premium or monies, shall forfeit any claim Or demand he may have made upon the Society.
16A The committee reserves the right where there are insufficient sheep entries in any one class then they will be shown in any other breed of sheep, This will have been made know to the exhibitor prior by the show by the secretary.
17. CUP MUST BE RETURNED IN GOOD CONDITION BY THE 29th July 2024
18. Anyone exhibiting in any Local Classes must be residing in the Parish of Ravenstonedale.
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE SHEEP DOG TRIALS
1. The Judges shall decide as to the time the dogs will have allowed to do the work set out and will also have the power of ordering up as soon as they please any dog that commits a flagrant error.
2. If a dog damages sheep, the owner of the dog shall pay the value thereof.
3. No dog shall be allowed to run twice in one Class unless the Judges consider the dog to have been unfortunate, in which case it remains with them alone to grant another trial.
4. Any person bringing a bitch on the field in season will be debarred from competing and turned off the ground.
5. After lunch each dog will run in Catalogue Order unless permission is obtained otherwise.

INGREDIENTS
100g/4oz butter, softened
175g/6oz caster sugar
METHOD
- Pre-heat oven to 180C/350F/Gas Mark 4
- Lightly grease and line a 900g/2lb loaf tin 2 eggs
- Measure all the ingredients into a bowl and beat until 2 ripe bananas, mashed well blended
225g/8oz self raising flour
- Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and level off 1 tsp baking powder
- Bake for about one hour until well risen and golden brown 2 tbsp milk
- Leave to cool for a few minutes before turning out and removing the lining paper
