And here’s why.

Ravenscroft has joined forces

with the Center for Creative Leadership*—one of the world’s top-ranked providers of executive education.

Together, we are pioneering a ground-breaking, PreK–12 curriculum designed to teach the leadership skills that hundreds of business, government, nonprofit, and education leaders from around the world have identified** as crucial—but frustratingly rare—in today’s work force.

This initiative is called Lead From Here. It will equip our students to become citizen leaders—to lead and collaborate with others to create positive change.

*Ranked No. 4 overall in the 2015 Financial Times worldwide survey of executive education. CCL has earned a Top 10 ranking in the survey for 14 consecutive years. **From a survey of 462 leaders around the globe conducted by the Center for Creative Leadership in 2012.

But, can the ingredients of leadership actually be identified and defined?

Yes. The Center for Creative Leadership has

already done it. And they have successfully trained thousands of effective leaders all over the world through their executive development programs.

How does this translate to children? Can leadership skills be taught in school— just like algebra or Latin or biology?

Yes. No one knows how to motivate, inspire,

and connect with students better than the faculty at Ravenscroft. By combining our longstanding educational experience with the Center for Creative Leadership’s tested leadership curriculum, we have created a brand new model for teaching these critical skills for success to children.

Embrace Possibility seeks to raise $15 million. The funds will be used to support

four ongoing initiatives, all designed to strengthen our commitment to provide this remarkable new teaching and learning approach to any qualified, motivated child in our region—and ensure every Ravenscroft student’s success.

We will implement and maintain a new model of academic and leadership education at Ravenscroft, designed to teach children the skills and competencies they will need to thrive in—and make a significant positive impact on—an unpredictable future.

BELONG HERE

We will expand and secure our ability to increase access and socioeconomic diversity by offering financial support to families who may not otherwise be able to afford a Ravenscroft education.

SUCCEED HERE

We will put in place innovative programs and services to support and ensure the success of every Ravenscroft student in today’s demanding educational environment—regardless of geographic, social, or economic background or need.

ANNUAL FUND

We will continue to support the faculty, programs and facilities that allow us to offer excellence in academics, arts and athletics for all students.
