I’m so glad you’re viewing my portfolio...
Nature-inspired floral-themed artworks are included in this lookbook. All of the prints were sourced from my inspiration board of my picture gallery, and I was impressed by the way this portfolio flowed. Patterns shown in this lookbook are mini collections. Each design is a vector based, thus by scaling it up or down, any size can be obtained.
More prints might be added to the collection upon request.
In the next pages, take a look at the pattern mockups and pattern swatches.
Amini collection typically consists of a small group of coordinated items, usually with 2 or 3 prints that work well together. The prints typically include a hero print, which is the main focus of the collection, and coordinate and blender prints that complement and enhance the hero print.
The hero print is usually the most bold and eye-catching of the prints, and is typically used in larger proportions or as the dominant print in the collection. The coordinate prints are typically smaller in scale and used to complement the hero print, while the blender print is usually a more subtle print used to tie the collection together.
For example, a mini collection might include a dress with a bold floral print as the hero print, a skirt with a smaller scale coordinating floral print, and a blouse with a subtle geometric print as the blender print. These prints would all work well together and create a cohesive and stylish mini collection.
Also, it is made sure that the colours used in the prints when creating these mini collections complement one another. The shapes and silhouettes of the objects in the collection, as well as any extra accents or embellishments that can assist bind the collection together are taken into consideration while designing these collections.
Creating a mini collection is not only a fun and creative process, but it can also be a great way to boost sales by showcasing the items in a coordinated and cohesive way. When customers see items that are clearly designed to go together, they are more likely to be drawn to the collection and to purchase multiple items.
