Suela’s hyggelige kunst
Suela is a Data Engineer, one-woman deer team, who recently got her PhD in computer science with focus on entity extraction and resolution. She always has some interesting stories to share with us over lunch or after-work drinks. When she is not collecting data, she is creating art pieces using a warm palette, colors that invite for hygge ambience, paintings sensual as a lovely sunset, a bright flower or a nice glass of wine. She never seizes to amaze us and we love having her as our colleague.

Rod Fishing on Mols
GreaterWeever(Fjæsing)
Venomous, don't get stung.
Each summer Simon tries to make up for his life in an apartment in Copenhagen with a tech job, by going into nature and try and collect some nourishment in one way or another
Mackerel
This summer this activity was centered around fishing. It started off on Mols, targeting Mackerel with rods in a very small, very dirty boat with a malfunctioning motor. Mackerel were caught and even two fjæsing made it onto the rods.

Gillnet Fishing on Bornholm
Rod fishing can be very boring, so when Simon is on his home island - Bornholm, he cheats and uses a big gillnet. It is WAY more effective, as his average number of fish caught, came up to around 25 per trip.
Turbot(Pighvar)
Another advantage to gillnets is the ease of catching flatfish. They are delicious!
Gillnets are a very sustainable way of fishing, as you can just release the fish back into the ocean when they are too small or abundant.
SameTurbotAgain
And the only way to split the catch of the day is of course from the milk crate on the back of a moped.
