concept • The center of everything comes in the form of circles (nodes),The center of life in Qusier is water represented in the hundreds of water tanks present on every rooftop and besides every door of a building in the city

concept The Simon Arzt Building represents an important historical era and an architectural icon in the history of Port Said.

The building, which we are renovating, was built in the first quarter of the last century. It gained special status in the line of the urban fabric of Palestine Street overlooking the Port Said facade of the western side of the canal.

The owner of the store is Simon Arzt, a Turkish tobacco merchant arrived to Port Said in 1869. he established the large shop, which is considered the first mall in the conventional style in front of the Suez Canal in 1923.

concept New Gourna Village is located in Luxor on the West Bank of the Nile River, within the World Heritage property of Ancient Thebes in Egypt. The Village was designed and built between 1946 and 1952 by the famous Egyptian architect Hassan Fathy (1900-1989).

The project aim to revive the village and stopping the serious state of degradation of the village, by both the World Heritage Committee and the academic world of experts on Hassan Fathy›s architectural work who submitted an international petition, UNESCO initiated a project in 2009 for the safeguarding of this important site.

This was agreed to in consultation with the Ministry of Culture of Egypt and the Governorate of Luxor.

Through my work in the National Organization for Urban Harmony I had the chance to • Redesign khan square • Project supervision regarding restoration techniques and work progress • Producing Monthly report for the restoration works

concept • Revival Project for khedival Cairo which was cultivated land reclaimed in the 1850s over the dumps separating the old Ottoman city from the Nile, Buildings of European character appeared, It is perhaps even harder to imagine that many early buildings of the ‘new quarters’ developed from 1868 onwards were already gone a couple of decades later, and that by the 1930s, a completely new landscape with opulent apartment buildings , movie theaters, and grand department stores, had replaced the early suburban houses of ‘Ismaïlia’, as the area was named upon its creation in reference to its founder, Khedive Ismail.

• The project goal to revive back khedival Cairo spirit as it is • Documentation of As-built conditions using 3D Laser Leica Scanner, data processed with cyclone & Cloudworx • Supervision of the Restoration process and working on the Redesign proposals • Regenerating the original facades and ornaments of the buildings through Visualization and production of technical drawings to unify shops façade in relation with the building design

concept Khedive Abbas Hilmy (1892–1914) built Royal palace ‘Montazah’ as his summer palace, a refuge for when Cairo became too hot.

It’s designed in a pseudo-Moorish style, which has been given a Florentine twist with the addition of a tower modelled on one at Florence's Palazzo Vecchio, The Montazah gardens have around 370 Feddans covered with all kinds of trees and plants, and even tropical plants, some of them difficult to find the plant, as well as some particular types of rare palms.

• Documentation of As-built conditions using 3D Laser Leica Scanner, data processed with cyclone & Cloudworx producing 3D Models of All buildings in Montaza palace and Gardens which consist of More than nine Buildings.

• Lighting Design proposal for the whole project areas through Dialux program regenerating the proper lighting fixtures for the exterior and interior area of the project.

• Lighting Design proposal for the Landscape area for paths, green areas and also for the waterscape • Producing BOQ sheets and Technical Drawings

concept • A research project in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura e Centro Archeologico Italiano - Il Cairo, the Italian Embassy and the National Organization for Urban Harmony of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture addressing the impact of European Architecture on Egypt, the research outcomes was presented in the form of a manuscript and a photographical exhibition, We started off with Italian Architecture, This was the first of a series of exhibitions by which we aim to spot the impact of European Architecture on the architecture scene in Egypt, and the next exhibition will highlight French Architecture in Egypt.

• The captivating photos reveal the details of architectural gems that started to flourish in the streets of Cairo, Alexandria, and Port Said since the beginning of the 19th century.

• The idea of the exhibition came due to the influence of Egyptian urbanism by Italian urbanism and Italian architects who had a clear impact and imprint on Egyptian urbanism, and the urbanization reflected the extent to which the Egyptian culture was affected by Italian culture and their merging with each other, The exhibition was attended by many public figures, media professionals, architects and the Italian community, who expressed their great admiration for the exhibition.
