SARAH GUILMARTIN As this year's D ublin Rose, Sarah p e rfo rm e d at th e D om e in Tralee to a w o rld w id e te levision audience in th e In ternational Rose o f Tralee Festival 2006. C urre n tly stu dyin g voice at th e Royal Irish A ca d e m y o f Music, und er th e d ire ctio n o f Philip O'Reilly, she is an accom plished p e rfo rm e r in b o th o p e ra tic and musical th ea tre roles. Sarah d e b u te d at th e N CH a lo ngside Am erican so pran o Jean G lennon, in th e role o f Pisana in Verdi's I D ue Foscari. JOHN McCALL John has a pp ea re d in many R&R p ro d u c tio n s playing varied roles inclu ding W ill Parker in Oklahoma!, Harry in Guys a n d Dolls and Fyedka in F id d le r O n The R o o f (all at th e Gaiety) and as Samuel in The Pirates o f Penzance. He has also fe a tu re d as a so lo ist fo r th e society's concerts at the N C H . Television credits include The Seven Days o f C reation at th e NCH and The Late Late Show fo r RTE. W ith th e Glasnevin Musical Society he a ppeared at th e Richard Rodgers C entenary C o n c e rt (for RTE Radio) and th e Barra 6 Tuama O p era Gala. W ith M usical Youth T heatre John a pp ea re d as R oger in Grease and Zebulun in Joseph and His A m a zin g Technicolor Dream coat. John returns to th e NCH w ith th e R&R a fte r a th re e year sabbatical d u rin g which tim e he enjoye d chart success w ith his band M ankind w ith which he to u re d e xtensively in Ireland and th e UK.
