We have been breeding horses since 1948, and proud to host our 55th annual sale. Reaching this point was not a one-man show type of operation. Our great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents established this legacy, and we not only kept it going, but we also strive to enhance and improve our foal crop color, confirmation, and disposition. We’ve been blessed with many helping hands along the way, from good neighbors close to home to friends we’ve made all across the country.
The horse business has brought us not just partners within the horse industry, but lifelong friends with whom we’ve celebrated the highs and endured the lows. We’ve shared victories, milestones, and challenges together, and those shared moments have become part of our story. When JW and Brooke both faced cancer diagnoses in 2023 and 2024, respectively, we were humbled by the outpouring of support from our horse community. From kind words and prayers to offers of help around the ranch, we were reminded that the bond we share through these horses runs deep. We’re grateful to share that both JW & Brooke are now in full remission, and we carry forward with renewed gratitude for the friendships, faith, and resilience that are part of the everlasting legacy this life has given us.
We’re committed to raising the kind of horses folks are glad to throw a saddle on: good-looking, intelligent, sure-footed, and gentle to be around. Our foals are born out in the pasture and grow up with the wind in their mane and plenty of room to move. Some folks figure that makes them standoffish, but we’ve found the opposite to be true. Even before they’re ever haltered, these foals will walk right up and nuzzle your arm. It makes snapping a good picture a bit of a challenge, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Sale Terms & Conditions
Any person attending this sale does so at his or her own risk. The terms of the sale are cash or check, and all settlements must be made at the close of the auction. The auctioneer has final sale call. All sales are final. We would like all horses to be picked up within one week of sale date unless prior arrangements have been made. Buyer must make arrangements with the seller at a reasonable rate per day for care of the horses until they can be picked up.
Bids
Anyone unable to attend the sale may give bids via DVAuction, phone or mail to the ranch auctioneer before the sale. All bids will be handled in strict confidence. Please make arrangements with the ranch prior to the day of the sale if you would like to bid by phone. This will help eliminate any confusion on sale day. The sale location has good cell phone service, mainly Verizon. Please note that if you are a new customer to our sale, we may ask for a bank reference if you wish to bid by phone.
Genetic Information
Disorder and color panels for all Froelich foals will be available on sale day.
Registration & Transfer
All horses sell registered with the American Quarter Horse Association. Buyers will be mailed the horse’s registration papers and transfer forms. It is up to the buyer to transfer his/her horse with the AQHA. Please note that the AQHA has a high volume of registrations during the fall and foal papers can take into the winter months to receive.
Announcements
Any announcement made from the block on sale day takes precedence over printed material. Please remember the photographs of the colts were taken in late July, so the maturity level will change and the color of the colts may change by sale day.
