Scope of works Manual metal arc (MMA), MIG/MAG and TIG welding of mild and stainless steel components, plus oxy-fuel gas welding where used, carried out within the agreed work area under a hot work permit. Covers welding-fume extraction and respiratory protection, screening of adjacent operatives, management of welding sets and gas cylinders, and the fire watch on completion. Excludes weld procedure qualification and NDT/weld inspection.
