And as a Rams Club member, you have the opportunity to secure the best seats in the house for this historic season through the 2025 Kenan Stadium Seat Selection process.
The Seat Selection process allows you to pick your seats and parking based on your membership rank in The Rams Club. A process like this one admittedly comes with plenty of “guidelines and rules” you need to know. This guide will highlight the primary features of the Seat Selection process, important dates and deadlines, and how you can best prepare to find the seats you want in 2025.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES OF SEAT SELECTION
Seat Selection gives Rams Club members the ability to choose their own season seat and parking locations for Carolina Football, based on their membership rank. You have access to seats that reflect your years of membership and your lifetime and current giving in support of our Tar Heel student-athletes. The process stands upon three guiding principles:
1. The Seat Selection Process Will Be Fair – Every Rams Club member has the same opportunity to select seats and parking based on the same set of guidelines as all other members.
2. Members Will Be Recognized for Loyalty & Giving – Carolina has the great fortune of a family of supporters who are incredibly loyal and generous. Rams Club members like you deserve the reward of access to the best seats in Kenan Stadium and the best parking locations on campus. The selection process uses the Priority Point System to determine membership rank among all Rams Club members – a system that rewards points for years of participation in The Rams Club and a lifetime of giving.
3. The Choice Is Yours – The Seat Selection process puts the decision on seat and parking locations in your hands. You will choose your seats and parking – and find just the right locations for you.

PRIMARY FEATURES OF THE SELECTION PROCESS
The Seat Selection process operates on three primary features that determine your selection time and how many seats and parking spaces you can select:
1. Seat and parking selection times are based on your membership rank. The best seat locations in the main bowl of Kenan Stadium, and parking locations on campus, will be made available for selection by active members of The Rams Club. Seat and parking selection times are based upon your membership rank (as determined by the Priority Point System) as of March 3.
2. The number of seats and parking you can select on priority are determined by your membership level. You may buy as many tickets as you choose, but the number of tickets available for priority selection is determined by your membership level. Members will fall into one of two priority groups, with all members within each group sorted by rank. The maximum number of tickets “on priority” are in the following increments:
PRIORITY GROUP A:
Made up of members at the Rameses level and higher, sorted by rank:
Endowed Scholarship up to 20 tickets
Legend up to 20 tickets
Champion up to 20 tickets
All-American up to 20 tickets
Coaches Circle up to 15 tickets
Super Ram up to 11 tickets
Battering Ram up to 11 tickets
Strutting Ram up to 7 tickets
Big Ram up to 5 tickets
Rameses up to 3 tickets
PRIORITY GROUP B:
Made up of members at the Ram and Tar Heel levels, sorted by rank:
Ram up to 5 tickets
Tar Heel up to 3 tickets
3. Selections will lock in your location for the next three seasons. This 2025 selection process will lock in your seat and parking locations for the 2025, 2026, and 2027 Carolina Football seasons, as long as your membership level does not decrease between the 2024-25 and 2026-27 membership years. The next Seat Selection is scheduled for 2028.
“SURPLUS” TICKETS:
Members who have ticket orders greater than their membership level maximum allows will have their “Surplus” tickets assigned after Priority Groups A and B, but ahead of the general public. For example, a Big Ram member who wants seven tickets may order seven tickets. Five of those tickets will be available for Seat Selection in Priority Group A and two will be assigned in the “Surplus” group. If that Big Ram member were a Strutting Ram, all seven tickets would be available for selection in Priority Group A.
ADDITIONAL POLICIES & GUIDANCE FOR SEAT SELECTION
• Members in Priority Groups A and B will personally select their seat location. All members in Priority Group A will choose first; Priority Group B will follow.
• “Surplus” tickets will be assigned by staff after Priority Groups A and B have selected.
• Premium seats (Pope Box, Koury Boxes, the Mezzanine, and the Blue Zone) are not subject to the selection process. Members in premium areas will receive an appointment time to select parking.
• Premium seats do not count toward priority limits on season tickets. For example, a Super Ram with four Blue Zone seats can still select up to 11 seats in the main bowl.
• A Rams Club member must be active at the Big Ram membership level or higher and have a Carolina Football season ticket purchase to qualify for parking selection.
• Members at the qualified giving levels can purchase one parking pass and select the location on priority with their season ticket order. A second parking pass will be available to purchase if the season ticket order is for six tickets or more; a third pass is available to purchase for orders of 10 or more, etc.
• If two or more members want to select seats together, they must inform The Rams Club by March 3. The selection priority for all members involved in the group will be based upon the lowest priority rank of the members involved.
GETTING READY FOR YOUR SEAT SELECTION
Choosing your seats and/or parking can be a fun experience. Consider these critical ways you can prepare for the process:
• Make sure your Rams Club annual membership level matches up with your ticket and parking needs. Your gift must be paid in full (or scheduled for completion by June 30) by the March 3 deadline.
• Build your Priority Points NOW to maximize your selection time. Note that gifts beyond your annual membership can earn bonus points – for example, new Carolina Athletics Excellence Fund gifts earn 2x the points! Check your membership rank by logging in to your account at ramsclub.com.
• When the selection website is launched in mid-March, familiarize yourself with how the site works. The process is similar to choosing seats on an airline website. New in 2025 – the selection site is mobile-friendly!
• You made a deposit for your tickets. You will need to pay any remaining ticket balance and purchase your parking during the checkout process at your selection time in order to lock in your locations.
THE PRIORITY POINT SYSTEM & YOUR MEMBERSHIP RANK
Membership rank is important in the selection process. Your rank in relation to other members of The Rams Club will determine when you are able to select your seat and parking locations. The Rams Club utilizes its Priority Point System to determine rank – rewarding years of loyalty and level of support. Members earn Priority Points in the following ways:
• 1 point for every $100 donated through The Rams Club
• 3 points for every year of membership in The Rams Club
• 15 bonus points for 10 years of membership, 30 points for 20 years of membership, and so on.
The Rams Club utilizes two point totals to allow for the tax deductibility of certain gifts (changes made in 2018, after tax law changes):
LIFETIME POINTS
Lifetime Points are accumulated as they have been for decades – through years of membership and for all gifts made in support of Carolina student-athletes. Lifetime Points will be used for all priority rankings except home seating.
HOME POINTS
Home Points accumulate the same as Lifetime Points (for years of membership and gifts made) – but can sometimes be lower if a member opts to decline points for a gift in order to preserve tax deductibility for that gift. Home Points will be used for seat selections in the Seat Selection process.
How the two point totals might affect your appointment times:
The large majority of members will have the same point totals for Lifetime Points and Home Points – and will have one selection appointment time as a result. If a member has different point totals for Lifetime and Home Points, the member will receive two appointment times to select seats (based on Home Points) and parking (based on Lifetime Points) separately.
ZONE PRICING FOR FOOTBALL TICKETS
Carolina Athletics utilizes zone pricing for season tickets – giving you the option to find tickets at your ideal price level. Members will make a $375 deposit for each seat desired for the 2025 season. Once selections are made at your appointment time, any balance due must be paid at checkout of the selection process. The balance due will be determined by the price of the section(s) chosen during Seat Selection, minus the $375 deposit already made. You will have the opportunity to choose the best seats available, whether closer to the 50-yard line (more expensive) or in another part of the stadium.
Parking purchases will also be due in full upon checkout after the selection process. The number of spaces for which you qualify to select will be noted in your online profile at your appointed time (and shared with you in advance of selections, to guarantee accuracy).
Members eligible for Season Parking Passes must maintain a membership giving level of Big Ram ($1,400) or higher.
SAMPLE RAMS CLUB MEMBER SCENARIOS
Below are sample case scenarios that may match up with your situation or concerns:
1. Anne is a Big Ram member ranked #440. She currently has four seats in the main bowl and is eligible for one parking pass purchase. Her Lifetime Points and Home Points are the same. Anne will receive one appointment slot in Priority Group A to choose both her seats and parking, based on her rank.
2. Don has four seats in the main bowl and a parking pass. He has different totals for Lifetime Points (320 points) and Home Points (288 points) because he declined points on a past gift, to maintain tax deductibility. Don will receive an appointment time to select his parking based on his 320 Lifetime Points – and will receive a separate time to select his seats based on his 288 Home Points.
3. Jim is a Rameses member who has bought two seats in the past, but he wants four seats in 2025. Jim will need to increase his membership level to Big Ram by the March 3 deadline in order to choose four seats together.
4. Susan is a new donor who wants two seats in Kenan Stadium, and she joins at the Rameses level. She will be able to choose seats in line with other members with 10 points (seven points for her $700 gift and three points for a year of membership) in Priority Group A.
5. Brian is a Coaches Circle member who currently has eight seats in the Pope Box and 10 seats in the main bowl. Brian can have up to 15 tickets on priority in the main bowl as a Coaches Circle member. His Pope Box seats (in a premium area) do not count toward priority limits, so he will choose his 10 seats in the main bowl at his appointed time.
6. Tom has four seats in the Pope Box. His premium area seats are not up for selection – but he will receive an appointment time for his parking selection.
7. Jeff is ranked #2217. He wants to sit with Mike (who is ranked #3806) and Vanessa (ranked #4484). All three of them must be in the same Priority Group and will choose based on the lowest-ranked member – in this case #4484. They must notify The Rams Club by March 3 of their desire to choose seats and parking at the same time.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why does this selection process occur every three years?
Seat Selection occurs every three years to most fairly allocate seats and parking for Carolina Football while recognizing loyalty and giving. The financial challenges facing Carolina Athletics are significant. This process rewards donors who rise to meet those challenges with new and creative giving, while recognizing a lifetime of generosity.
Will I be able to retain my old seat location?
To most fairly allocate seating assignments, no members are guaranteed that they will be able to retain their old seat location.
How do I know where I will sit in 2025?
You will choose their own seats as part of the selection process in April/May. The Rams Club cannot predict the rank level needed for a given seat location, as member preferences play a huge role in determining which seats are chosen first.
When can I view the selection website?
The website for the selection process will be published in March. You will be notified of the site’s launch and will have an opportunity to visit the site in advance of your appointment time.
When will I know my appointment time?
Members who have made a season ticket deposit will be notified of their appointment time in mid-March (shortly after the March 3 order and membership giving deadline).
What do I do if I want to order more tickets than my membership level allows?
You may order as many season tickets as you want, but you will only be allowed to choose on priority the number of tickets your membership level allows (the corresponding list is included in this publication). Any tickets ordered more than your priority limit will be assigned after Priority Groups A and B have made selections. Members can always upgrade their membership level to accommodate for all of their tickets being available on priority.
