We are hosting a Mardi Gras Masquerade, which will raise funds to support the Raleigh Parks Play It Forward financial assistance program. Each year, the financial assistance program provides over $200,000 in registration assistance to patrons throughout our community to participate in a variety of recreational activities, summer camps, and before and after school care.
About Play it Forward Raleigh:
For the past 30 years, the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department has provided assistance to families and individuals who desire to participate in departmental programs but, for financial reasons, cannot always afford to do so. One hundred percent of your sponsorship goes directly to families in the Triangle area. The assistance fund helps reduce barriers to participation in recreation programs that encourage healthy lifestyles, promote self-confidence, teach lifelong lessons, and allow participants to play for a lifetime.

Keep the spirit of giving alive by attending our Mardi Gras Masquerade Prom for Adults on February 7, 2026! We’re hosting a vibrant, masquerade-style evening where adults (21+) can get glammed up and celebrate Mardi Gras in style with music, masks, and magic all night long. You’ll dance the night away to beats from our DJ, sip on adult beverages from local vendors at our cash bar, enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and indulge in festive mocktails crafted by talented mixologists on-site.
Whether you’re bringing your special someone, flying solo in fabulous flair, or rolling in with your krewe, this night is bound to dazzle!
