My passion for spatial design began with The Sims 4, where I first explored how spaces shape emotions and interactions. This grew into a fascination with balancing aesthetics, function, and storytelling.
I enjoy tackling challenges in spatial planning, adaptive reuse, and user-centered design to create purposeful spaces. With a research-driven mindset, I refine ideas and push creative boundaries.
For me, design isn’t just about shaping spaces—it’s about crafting experiences that enhance how people interact with their environment.
ABOUTme
I believe that design should enhance the way people experience and interact with space. My approach focuses on creating meaningful journeys, where circulation, materiality, and atmosphere work together to shape a seamless and immersive experience. I am passionate about adaptive reuse, using a site’s history, context, and identity as design drivers to establish familiarity and emotional connection. By balancing functionality with storytelling, I strive to transform spaces into environments that are not only engaging and intuitive but also deeply connected to their surroundings and users.

CLARINS tfwa
FRENCHALPS
As an intern, I assisted in designing Clarins' TFWA exhibition booth at Marina Bay Sands, focusing on ergonomics, functionality, and brand identity. I helped create meeting spaces while ensuring sustainability and alignment with Clarins' values.
3DSTRUCTURE
Using paper, I created models to explore and visualize different concepts and layouts, allowing me to present the client with a wide range of possibilities.
Inspired by the Alps, the use of curves creates a seamless flow between interior and exterior spaces, guiding movement and enhancing visual appeal. These curves expand in key areas to emphasize focal points, shaping a dynamic and immersive spatial experience.
Implementing a grid system to maintain control and balance over the curves.

DESIGNING FOR A BETTER TAMPINES WEST CC
We aim for TWCC to be an ever-changing place of spontaneity, allowing flexibility of activities, providing the freedom to manipulate modular elements according to differing needs. Allowing spaces for arts & culture, expressed through fun and play, encourages showcase of interests and identities. Centralising activities in a vertical manner connects spaces. Having shared experiences fosters deeper friendships, reinforcing TWCC as a place for neighbours, by neighbours.
EVERCHANGING
an ever-changing layout that can cater and be flexible to differing programs throughout the CC’s schedule.

IMPROVING USER EXPERIENCE
INDIVIDUAL COMPONENT
I designed a safety guide poster for users of a community space to promote engagement and creativity while ensuring injury prevention. The poster features clear, visually engaging instructions in multiple languages, making safety tips accessible to a diverse audience, including children and those with limited reading skills. The poster addresses practical safety concerns and is strategically placed for maximum visibility. As part of broader safety initiatives, this poster aims to enhance user experience and well-being, with proposed workshops to further engage and educate the community.
INFINITYessence
For the Design for Consumer Experience module, our group developed a brand and identity, designing a flatpacked pop-up booth for easy transport. We created Infinity Essence, a fragrance brand offering a diverse range of products, including perfumes, candles, and aromatherapy, to appeal to a wider demographic.
This pop-up booth is made only using recycled cardboard, paper and binding equipments such as glue and paper fasteners.

SAFE SOUND SLEEPING PLACE (S3Ps) VS TRANSITION SHELTER
TS: A ‘home-like’ space that offers their basic needs and comfort. The option to personalize their spaces and having a mix of communal and private spaces increases sense of belonging and security.
S3Ps: A temporary small space that caters to their basic needs.
Level of privacy and area of space can determine the comfortability level.
The overall concept focuses on simplicity by using grid lines, cubes, and cuboids to cre with an organized and methodical ambience. The linearity facilitates a visually balanced environment while still prioritizing function and circulation within the space.
The cube is divided to create spaces for function and circulation
The second and third rows of squares are flexible furniture. They can be folded according to what the user requires in their space. The more needs they have, the less privacy they get.

TRANSITIONAL SHELTER PLAN AND SECTIONS
I designed space-saving furniture integrated into movable walls to maximize living space while fostering shared connections. This flexible design ensures sufficient space for all tenants, encouraging interaction and a strong sense of community embodying the kampung spirit through thoughtful spatial planning.

SUSTAINABLE designpractices
In my Sustainable Design Practices module, I designed a pop-up booth to educate the public on the growing plastic waste problem from online shopping. The project focused on sustainability-driven design, using recycled materials and interactive elements to promote awareness and responsible consumption.
For my Design Integration module, I explored Revit and Twinmotion by designing a café. This project enhanced my skills in BIM modeling, rendering, and creating immersive visualizations, allowing me to integrate technical precision with aesthetic design.
