FINDINGS IN ROSTFREI STEELS PVT LTD
1000 KL GLS Tanks near social park collapsed recently. Here are some findings regarding that collapse. Causes and its consequences are discussed in this presentation. Purpose of this presentation document is to make a reference document such that in future such things doesn’t happen again.

The objective of GLS Tanks analysis is to examine the flow of water and impact of the flow of water on surrounding building when GLS Tanks collapse.
The constructed steeled or cemented structure was not properly watered. Between the cement and internal basalt (murum) layer, there was a gap developed. Due to less thickness. Steel sheets usage was less and quality was not tested in terms of force.
The constructed steel structure was weaker and was not able to hold the desired load. Due to air gap developed between steel and basalt layer, it could not bear the load. The whole load was concentrated on just one paint. Due to this load, the base of steel or cemented structure cracked and the fabricated structure on which the GLS tank was placed was unbalanced.

All load of water tank was concentrated at one point. The load increased beyond tolerance and the cement base cracked thus resulting in collapsed structure.
