Spring Programme 11/1/16 - 24/3/16
Welcome
... to our Spring Programme The programme runs from Mon 11th January to Thur 24th March. Many of our groups are term time only, so please check with session leaders whether activities will run over the half term holiday. Within this programme you will find details of courses and workshops for parents, followed by an ante-natal section and a ‘Groups for All’ section, with daily activities for all pre-school children and their families or carers. These are open to everyone and we are always pleased to see dads and grandads. We can recommend all our groups for children with additional needs. At the end of the programme you will find information about our specialist services, which are by referral only. If you would like to be referred, please speak to your Midwife or Health Visitor - or contact a member of our team. The best news is that all our groups are FREE! For the latest news and updates on what is happening in our Children’s Centres visit our website: www.priorycentre.co.uk and make sure you follow us on Facebook/Twitter. Video Interaction Guidance
Contact: 01493 743066
By PIMHS referral only. For parents of pre-school children.
Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) is a tool through which we are able to improve the communication within relationships. It works by engaging parents/carers actively in a process of change towards realising their own hopes for a better future in their relationships with their children. In VIG parents are guided to reflect through video clips on their own successful interactions. Looking at what works well can help you to understand each other and build a stronger relationship. 25
