The Medical Student Training in Aging Research (MSTAR) at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is a T-32 program funded by The National Institute on Aging (NIA). It is one of the 8 National Training Centers which includes Harvard Medical School (BU, UMass, UMiss and Brown) ★ Johns Hopkins University SOM ★ NYU ★ UCLA (UCSF and Univ of Washington) ★ UC San Diego ★ University of North Carolina ★ Augusta University (PR). The MSTAR Program at ISMMS provides an enriching 8-week experience in aging and palliative care related research under the mentorship of top experts in the field. Aging-related research crosscuts many areas of scientific investigation from basic sciences, to clinical research, to health services research.
