RainbowTree

At RainbowTree, I will get to play outside. So I have to come prepared for the weather. This means I may need to bring a jacket, wear sunscreen or bug spray, and be ready for any temperature cold or hot.All of these things can go in a bag to come to camp with you. Including a snack for snack time.
If it is raining really hard or storming we might stay inside the healing space.
When I come to RainbowTree Lisa and other adults will be there to tell us all the fun activities we will be doing.
It’s ok to feel nervous, scared, shy, or excited.
At RainbowTree I can meet friends who are there to learn and play too.
When I get to camp, my family will drop me off at the front. There will be a wagon to put my bag into so all my things will go down to the camp area.
There will be fun activities to play by the house or in the garden while we wait for everyone to arrive.
It is important to listen for Lisa’s drum. This means that it is time to stop what we are doing, look towards the drum, and listen to the instructions.
We will gather and sing the RainbowTree welcome song, get to know everyone who is there. We might do a puppet show or read a story.
Next we will do different activities. Lisa will tell us where we start and when it is time to move from one activity to the next.
Their names are
We might do a craft at the picnic table.
Or we might play at camp. There are places to paint, make music, play with water, or “cook” in the mud kitchen.
I can explore Fairy Land or play in the Dinosaur sandbox
Here are all the different slides at camp.
These are pictures of different things I can climb on.
I can even try to climb a tree!
At camp we will have time for snack. All the bags will be in the wagon down at camp and there are stumps to sit on.
If I have questions I can ask Lisa or any grown up.There will always be a grownup around to help me if I need them.
At the end of the day we might come together as a group to make music, read a book, or say our favorite part of the day.
When it is time to go home my family will come pick me up in front of the house.
It is important that I stay on the cement in front of the house because parents are driving their cars to pick up their kids.
Each day at camp may we might do different activities. I know there is always something new to look forward to at RainbowTree!
At the end of the week I will be done coming to camp. People may feel sad because they had so much fun and want to keep coming back. It is ok to feel sad but I can also remember all the fun that I had at RainbowTree.
