2. Paralegal Generally speaking, a paralegal is a professional who has the required education and experience to assist licensed lawyers in their legal work. The definition of a paralegal is a person trained in legal matters, who performs routine tasks requiring some knowledge of the law and procedures. Paralegals often handle much of the paper work in probates of estates, divorce actions, bankruptcies, investigations, analyzing depositions, preparing and answering interrogatories, procedural motions, and other specialized jobs. Paralegals are employed in almost every office where legal work is performed.

10+2 or its equivalent (for a Diploma).

Degree or Diploma in Paralegal education

1-2 years

The ability to multitask is a skill paralegals must hone, thinking ahead, good communication skills, knowledge of various legal matters, ability to work in teams and research skills.

Can apply for the post of litigation managers after working as a paralegal for several years and gaining experience. Good Rs. 10,000-12,000 p.m.
