As we turn the pages of yet another inspiring chapter in India’s MICE journey, the Exhibition ExcellenceAwards & Summit (EEA) 2025 stands tall as a beacon of growth, collaboration, and industry pride. On the 31st of May, Navi Mumbai’s CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre wasn’t just a venue - it became the heartbeat of the global MICE community
When we first envisioned the EEAback in 2015, it was driven by a simple yet powerful idea: to celebrate the architects of experiences - the organisers, venues, and service providers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to bring events to life. Fast forward to 2025, and the EEAhas evolved into India’s most credible and comprehensive platform for recognising excellence across the exhibitions and events ecosystem.
This year’s edition was not just another milestone - it was a moment of true validation for India’s growing stature on the world MICE map. With participation from 980 professionals and dignitaries across the globe, the summit reaffirmed India’s position as a serious player in the international exhibitions and events landscape. The strong support from the Ministry ofTourism, Ministry of Skill Development, IEIA, UFI, ICCA, SISO,AFECA, and several other reputed bodies was a testament to the industry’s increasing influence and maturity
The grand inauguration, deeply rooted in Maharashtrian traditions, set the perfect tone - a beautiful blend of culture and modernity, symbolising both our heritage and our forward-looking ambition. The presence of global industry icons like Ray Bloom, Michael Duck, and Kai Hattendorf further reinforced the significance of this platform. The parallel India Event Expo 2025 became a powerful B2B hub, showcasing over 135 booths from more than 100 leading companies. It wasn't just an expo - it was a vibrant marketplace of ideas, where innovation met opportunity, and where tomorrow’s collaborations were born.
Another highlight was the Live Competition Zone, a dynamic showcase of the sector’s best talent competing in real time. It brought the energy, the passion, and the relentless pursuit of excellence to the forefront. As we continue to build on this legacy, the EEAremains committed to being more than an awards night - it is a movement to elevate standards, foster collaboration, and shine a global spotlight on India’s MICE builders.
The journey is far from over, and the best is yet to come.

Waves of appreciation all around –
“First of all, I’m very delighted to be here at the EEA event. Delighted to be part of fireside chat, which I enjoyed very much. The event itself is fantastic. With the exhibitors, with the programme, with the award, I think it’s fantastic. India has expanded dramatically in the mice and exhibitions industry globally, and so it’s very important to bring people together in this way. And holding it at such a prestigious venue makes it even more valuable. I’ve had many discussions today, and I do feel there is a real momentum to take India forward. And I think EEA plays a very major part.” –Ray Bloom, Founder Chairman –IMEX Group
“I spent a lot of time in India over the past 20 years, and it’s great to see Exhibition Showcase here come to this level. Bringing people together in an industry means that you get everybody who’s involved in the exhibition industry, from organisers to stand contractors to freight forwarders to people who are
involved in the AV, lighting, logistics, etc. By growing these businesses together, getting people to know the professionalism of that business is hugely important for the growth of the business.” - Michael Duck, Executive Vice President, Informa Markets
“Thank you for organizing such a fantastic Exhibition Excellence Awards 2025 and exhibition. It was a truly well-executed event, and a great experience for Signext Display Systems to be a part of it. We deeply appreciate the effort and passion that went into making the show such a success. It provided us with great exposure and meaningful interactions within the industry.” - Hrushikesh Kelkar, Signext Display Systems
“Thank you Raghav and the entire team of EEA2025. The event was a success and the passion and hard work which has
gone into it it is evident. Fantastic partnership and alliances and very well planned” - Prithvi Anand, Novotel HICC
“I take this opportunity to thank the entire team of Exhibition Showcase for putting up the excellent event on Excellence in Exhibitions, Events, MICE. The tireless efforts in bringing together the dignitaries, participants
and highprofile delegates. Yet another memorable event. Till we meet again next year. Thank you again.”Sanjeev Sinha, Pavilions and Interiors.
The Exhibition Excellence Awards & Summit 2025 was not just a celebration of achievement it was a catalyst for progress. It did more than honour the best; it ignited conversations, fostered collaborations, and set the tone for what lies ahead. By seamlessly weaving together tradition and innovation, regional strengths and global outlooks, datadriven insights and design-driven experiences, the event offered a panoramic view of the evolving MICE and experience economy landscape
In an era where India is rapidly emerging as a vanguard of the global MICE and experiential storytelling sectors, the EEA served both as a mirror reflecting this rise and a megaphone amplifying its voice. It proved to be more than an awards platform – it became a convergence point where ideas translated into impact, where leadership met learning, and where the future boldly took the spotlight
As the curtains fall on this remarkable edition, one thing is clear: the journey has only begun, and the Exhibition Excellence Awards will continue to be the stage where India’s MICE aspirations find expression and momentum.

SEASON'S CATERING
ES. Can you share the story behind its founding and your journey?
Ramesh Prakash Bolke Roshni
Electrical Works began its journey in 2002 with a simple but powerful vision: to provide reliable, innovative, and safe electrical solutions. Back then, we started with a small team, driven by a passion for excellence in electrical engineering Our first few projects were modest, but our focus on quality workmanship, safety, and client satisfaction quickly set us apart
Over the years, we ’ ve grown into a trusted name in the industry, handling large-scale electrical infrastructure for events, industries, and government institutions across India. Our journey has been one of constant learning, adaptation, and commitment to raising industry standards.
ES. Can you explain the technical complexities involved and how your team addresses them?
Ramesh Prakash Bolke. High Tension (H.T.) and Low Tension (L T ) systems each come with their own set of technical challenges. H.T. systems operate at high voltages, requiring specialized equipment and strict safety protocols to manage risk and ensure uninterrupted supply. L.T. systems, while operating at lower voltages, demand precision in load distribution, cabling, and protection systems to avoid failures. Our team comprises licensed professionals trained in both domains, and we follow rigorous safety audits, preventative maintenance schedules, and real-time monitoring to ensure system integrity Our expertise allows us to quickly troubleshoot, reduce downtime, and optimize performance in both types of systems
ES. Roshni Electrical Works has handled some of India’s most high-profile events like IPL, Sunburn Festival, and Make in India. Which project do you consider the most challenging and why?
Ramesh Prakash Bolke. Every project brings its own unique set of challenges, but the Make in India Week in Mumbai stands out as one of the most complex It was a massive, multi-venue international event with a tight timeline and high security protocols Coordinating the power infrastructure across exhibition halls, outdoor areas, media zones, and international pavilions required precision planning, real-time coordination with multiple stakeholders, and 24/7 on-ground support. The pressure was immense, but our team’s discipline and technical expertise helped us deliver without a single glitch, which was a proud moment for all of us.
ES Can you walk us through the typical planning and execution process when providing electrical infrastructure for mega events
Ramesh Prakash Bolke Our approach starts with a detailed site survey and client consultation to understand the event’s scale, layout, and power requirements We then create a comprehensive electrical design plan, factoring in load calculations, safety margins, redundancy, and distribution logistics. Once approved, our team handles equipment mobilization, cabling, panel installations, and generator setups. We also deploy technical staff on-site for real-time monitoring, load balancing, and emergency response. Post-event, we manage a seamless dismantling process with full documentation and safety compliance. Our strength lies in meticulous planning, fast execution, and adaptability to changing ground realities.
ES What is your long-term vision for Roshni Electrical Works in the next 5 years?
Ramesh Prakash Bolke. Over the next five years, our vision is to expand beyond traditional electrical contracting into smart energy solutions and sustainable infrastructure. Geographically, we aim to strengthen our presence across more Indian states and potentially enter select international markets. Diversification is also on the cards we ' re evaluating opportunities in data center power solutions and EV infrastructure At the core of all this is our commitment to innovation, safety, and excellence that continues to define the Roshni Electrical Works brand.

Global Exhibitions Day (GED) continues to serve as the single largest day of awareness and advocacy for the exhibition industry. The Tenth edition of Global Exhibitions Day (GED) was celebrated worldwide on 4 June 2025 under the theme “Exhibitions Unleash Potential”. This year’s theme showcased how exhibitions empower individuals, elevate organisations, and drive economic and social growth through direct in-person interactions and connections
In the lead-up to and during GED 2025, according to UFI’s initial numbers, global activations had an online reach of over 800k across social media. The #GED2025 hashtag was widely used across the community to showcase the role and relevance of exhibitions in driving progress for people and the planet. The Snöball social card campaign mobilised over 150 individual advocates who generated and shared personalised GED visuals
across their networks, further amplifying the visibility and impact of the day. GED 2025’s four key messages highlighted the transformative power of exhibitions across multiple dimensions Exhibitions drive progress in industries by fostering collaboration and innovation; empower individuals by supporting the growth of both emerging and established talent; advance communities by fuelling economic development and societal progress; and strengthen companies by amplifying brand presence, building networks, and boosting revenue through face-to-face engagement.
Leading global organisers Clarion Events, Comexposium, Emerald, Informa, and RX, weighed in on the importance of exhibitions in empowering people through in-person connection and
fueling multi-sector trade and growth Industry associations from around the world came together to share the importance of GED and to encourage others in their respective communities to participate. The Tenth Global Exhibitions Day coincided with the UFI European Events Week in Thessaloniki, Greece, with over 350 attendees. At the welcome reception, the special celebration included a ceremonial cake-cutting and a joyous birthday song session, marking the milestone with a sense of community and festivity.
