He also has an international profile teaching worldwide, most recently in India during which time he gave 11 seminars in 11 cities to over 1100 delegates in 11 days! The Sean Taaffe Professional range will be launched in India this Autumn.

We caught up with the man behind the brand, Sean Taaffe, for an insight into his inspiration behind creating the new range and an exclusive reveal and what’s to come.

What motivated you to create your own brand range and tell us about it?

I always had an interest in the products we use and how they can make our job so much easier and also therefore make our clients hair regime easier too .

With over 3 decades in the hair industry, the multi award winning Sean Taaffe Group, know everything about how to create and maintain beautiful hair. So it’s fantastic news, that they have now launched their own brand retail range of products - so we can enjoy a good hair day - everyday - from the comfort of our own homes!

The first product in the Sean Taaffe Professional range is the ST Moisture Spray Leave-In Conditioner, and is available now from selected retailers nationwide, in salon and online on www.seantaaffe.com. Priced at €19.95, the ST Moisture Spray Leave-In Conditioner is a game changer in the management, styling and condition of hair. It is the result of 3 years of extensive development, testing and research, advanced hair science and also harvesting the knowledge of 35 years practical salon experience. It is available in two formulations1 for thick/coarse hair types and 2 for fine/vulnerable hair.

With the ST Moisture Spray Leave-In Conditioner 1, you can expect intense hydration for thick, stubborn or coarse hair without weighing it down. Whilst other leave-in conditioners and moisture sprays can leave hair feeling oily or full of silicone, this ST leave-in conditioner promises to hydrate hair whilst giving it a weightless finish - leaving hair softer, taming flyaways and making it easier to manage.

The ST Moisture Spray Leave in Conditioner 2 is suitable for fine, vulnerable or coloured hair that needs some extra love, without weighing it down. This spray promises to nourish and detangle hair, without damage, making it easier to blow dry and style.

When Covid hit I had the one thing I don’t normally have - time ! So I put this time and effort into product research and started work with a UK development company in developing a number of products which went onto to be the Sean Taaffe Professional range.

What’s unique about this product and what will it deliver to hair?

ST Moisture Spray Leave in Conditioner are vegan and contain vitamin E , and only contain water soluble silicones so won’t build up in the hair.

PLUS they have colour saver properties so will help stop your colour from fading and are fantastic detanglersespecially no 1.

No 1 is developed for thick coarse hair, adds massive hydration, superb detangler but won’t weigh the hair down!

No 2 for fine vulnerable hair, gives exactly the right amount of hydration and also will not weigh the hair down.

Excitingly they can be used as a stand alone conditioner replacement however we recommend adding it to your hair care regime apply after washing and conditioning, also can be applied to dry hair on mornings when hair isn’t shampooed.

We have developed 6 products to completion, and plan to launch another 2 next year and another at the end of the year or start of 2024, so exciting times ahead!
