Welcome to what I am calling my food memoir, that highlight my original recipes! Food makes the world go round, it soothes attitudes, it can give you life or kill you. It is a powerful tool we use to get through days and keep memories.

Walk this journey with me and cook like Raekwon overnight and at the drop of a link, click and read. Results of course will vary because of specifics but this will get you right where you need to be!

This is one of many editions, publications and more outlets to come! From the kitchen to the grill, to the bar! A lot of people can't compete. It is with much experience, trial and error that I am where I am today!

Raekwon's Shared Recipe Cookbook: A Food Memoir is dedicated to Alana Cruz. I met my friend at Fayetteville State University in 2016, and since then we have been great friends to each other.

She will probably kill me because of the picture I chose but we haven't took once since that year! Without Alana there would be no cookbook, no vision, nothing. I am so thankful and grateful to you for encouraging me to do this and for providing a vision. Also pushing me relentlessly.

She encouraged me to do this and stick to it to finish it because of my talent and food. She first tasted my food at a birthday party in University Place Apartments for a mutual friend. Since then, we've been there for each other!

2 lbs Stew Beef 3lbs Ground Beef 2 32 oz bags Frozen Mixed Vegetables 1 5lb bag Russet Potatoes 2 10oz cans Diced Tomatoes 64oz Vegetable Juice 64oz Tomato Juice 12 oz Okra (Very Optional) Salt Pepper Sugar

Bring Stew Beef to a Boil, Cook until tender. (Medium High Heat) Cook Hamburger Boil Potatoes until soft Flash boil frozen mixed vegetables Combine Vegetable and Tomato Juice Bring juice to a boil and combine all ingredients Season to taste with Salt and Pepper To cut bitterness add pinches of sugar Add cooked Okra last

Ingredients 6 Chicken Breasts 2 jars of Kraft Mayo 2 Teaspoons Mustard 3 Celery Stalks 4 Eggs Boiled 1 Vidalia Onion Salt Pepper Sugar

Recipe 1.

Boil Chicken Breasts until fork tender Chop vegetables into small pieces Drain and Let chicken breasts cool Shred Chicken with fork, or chop with food processor 5.

Combine mayo, mustard and chopped vegetables, salt, sugar and pepper into a mixing bowl.

6. Stir until a creamy consistency is balanced 7.

Cool and Serve

Ingredients 1 bag of Spring Salad Mix Cherry Tomatoes 2 Cucumbers 1 Green Apple Tyson's Blackened Chicken Breast Strips (Bagged) 1 Tablespoon of Oregano 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil 1 Cup of Colby Jack Cheese Real Bacon Pieces (Bagged) Eggs Croutons Your Favorite Dressing!

Wash all vegetables and place in desired dish (Bowl) Hard boil 2 Eggs Cut cherry tomatoes into halves Dice cucumbers and apples into bite size pieces Dice apples into bite size pieces Microwave bagged chicken Combine all vegetables/fruits and chicken Add Cheese and Olive Oil Add Oregano and Eggs Add Bacon Pieces Add Salad Dressing and toss!

cheeseburger dip

"We" call it Rotel...

Ingredients 3lb Roll Ground Beef (Substitute for turkey or chicken) 2 Cans of Rotel 16 oz of Velveeta Cheese 8 oz Cream Cheese (Philadelphia) 1 cup of half and half 1 bag of tortilla chips

Recipe 1. Cook ground meat thoroughly through, draining all oil (Medium Heat) 2.

Put contents back in same pot 3. Cut velveeta into chunks and combine them with the ground meat 4. Add 1 cup of half and half, move temperature to medium low heat 5.

As cheese melts add cream cheese 6.

Drain ONE can of rotel, leaving liquid in one can 7. Add rotel in the same pot and turn contents on low 8.

Serve over tortilla chips

Slow Cooked Superbowl favorite!

Ingredients 6 Chicken Breasts 16 oz Cream Cheese 8 oz Cheddar Cheese Green Onions 8oz Ranch Dressing Salt Pepper Paprika Tortilla chips

Season Chicken Breasts 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper and 1 teaspoon of Paprika Place in a slow cooker on high for 4 hours Drain chicken, and shred with a fork placing back in crockpot Add 10 oz of Frank's Red Hot Add 2 bricks of cream cheese Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese Add green onions Add 8oz of Ranch Dressing Stir contents and let cook for one hour Serve with tortilla chips

Upgrade your taste buds with this savory treat with a hint of sweet!

Ingredients 10 oz Frozen Spinach 12 oz Cream Cheese 4 oz Sour Cream 4 oz Bread Crumbs 4 oz dried cranberries 8 oz of Real Bacon Bits 1 Teaspoon of Minced Garlic 10-12 Large Portebella Mushrooms Salt, Pepper, Italian Seasoning 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Olive Oil

Recipe 1.

Thaw frozen spinach Cook spinach and drain (Medium heat) Place spinach back in pot.

On medium low heat, place cream cheese, bread crumbs, sour cream, dried cranberries and bacon bits in and stir until smooth 5. Season with minced garlic, salt, pepper and Italian seasonings 6.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees 7.

Keep mixture on low heat, Wash mushrooms off 8.

Pull caps of mushrooms out and discard 9. In a bowl combine one teaspoon of salt, pepper, Italian seasoning minced garlic, with 2 teaspoons of olive oil 10.

Brush oil onto washed mushrooms 11. With a baby spoon, put spinach mixture into cavities of mushrooms 12.

Bake on 400 degrees for 15 minutes 13. Cut oven off, and sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella onto the mushrooms 14.

Serve!

4 Chicken Breasts 4 Andouille Sausage Links 1lb Devained, Peeled, Cleaned Shrimp The Trinity of Foods: Bell Pepper, Onion (Vidalia) and Celery 128oz Chicken Stock 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil 1/8 Cup Gumbo File Onion Powder Garlic Powder Smoked Paprika Tony's Creole Seasoning Louisiana Cajun Seasoning Salt Pepper Bay Leaves

Recipe 1. Make your roux! Heat the vegetable oil up on the stove using medium low heat, and stir and whisk in flour for up 20 minutes until you have a chocolate brown color 2.

Add seasonings to your liking in and the Trinity 3.

Cook Chicken and Sausage in a separate pot while seasoning and stirring your vegetables until translucent with roux 4. Combine vegetables and roux with cooked chicken and sausage, season again with the seasonings listed 5.

Add chicken stock and other contents except Shrimp and Gumbo File 6.

Bring to a rolling boil, for about 45 minutes stirring occasionally 7.

Add Bay Leaves and shrimp with 10 minutes of cooktime left 8.

DISCARD Bay Leaves 9.

Stir in gumbo file with 5 minutes of cooktime left 10.

Serve over rice with green onions (Recipe later -- P.38)

Beef Chuck Roast Vidalia Onions Cilantro Lime Corn Tortillas Guajillo Peppers Bay Leaves Salt Pepper Onion Powder Cinnamon Garlic Powder Mexican Cheese

Recipe

1.

Season chuck roast to taste, only using a dash of cinnamon 2.

Place chuck roast in slow cooker with whole onion, cilantro and peppers 3.

In a slow cooker, cook chuck roast on high for 6 hours 4. After ingredients have cooked, blend whole onion, cilantro and peppers together, placing blended contents back in the slow cooker for another hour 5.

Shred Roast 6.

Warm corn tortillas over on the stove 7.

Add roast, cilantro, lime and onion to a corn tortilla with Mexican cheese 8. Dip wet contents and juices out of the crockpot with ladle and place in a skillet with filled tortillas 9.

Let cook until cheese melts 10.

Put some more contents in a Styrofoam cup for dipping purposes! Enjoy!

New York Texas Toast Garlic and Butter Croutons 3.

1 8oz Block of Pepper Jack 7. 2 cups of Italian Herbs Lightly Dried by Gourmet Garden 8.

Smash the croutons until they are fine crumbs Add ground beef, croutons, 2 eggs, sea salt and Italian herbs to a bowl Cut mozzarella and pepper jack into cubes Preheat oven to 400 degrees Mix meat contents together, until formed a pasty texture.

Make large meatballs out of contents Take cheese cubes and press into a meatball and form a ball over the cheese press Repeat steps 6-7 until all meat is gone In a bowl mix tomato sauce together with 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of lightly dried herbs and sea salt.

Place meatballs in pan, covering in tomato sauce Bake for one hour Serve!

1. Over medium heat, add tomato sauce a sauce pan 2. Add Cream Cheese and heavy whipping cream to sauce 3.

A fan favorite, tried and true!

Ingredients 1.

4 Chicken Breasts 1 cup of Honey Tone's Lemon Pepper House Autry Chicken Breading 1 stick of Sweet Cream Butter 64 oz Peanut Oil

Recipe 1. In a cast iron skillet, or deep fryer, preheat oil to 360 degrees 2. While your oil is heating up cut chicken breasts into tenders 3.

Season with Lemon Pepper 4.

Add Lemon Pepper to the chicken breading 5.

Coat tenders in the chicken breading 6. Once temperature has come to 360, fry the tenders in the peanut oil 7. While chicken is cooking, make sauce in a saucepan on medium low heat on stove 8.

Fry chicken for 12 minutes 9. Combine sweet cream butter, cup of honey and 1/2 cup of lemon pepper to saucepan until contents mesh together 10.

Drizzle sauce over done chicken tenders and toss 11.

Serve!

Ingredients 1.

1 cup Mayo 3.

1/2 cup Mustard 4.

Bowl as many eggs as you want 2. Crack eggs, After eggs boil, cut eggs down the middle and pull out yellow yolk.

Recipe 1.

Heat Olive Oil up in a flat skillet on medium heat 2.

Wash pork chops 3.

Season with Lemon Pepper generously 4.

Place in skillet, flipping every 3.5 minutes 5.

Place pats of butter in skillet 6.

Squeeze lemon juice on chops while cooking 7.

Continuing to flip to avoid burning 8. Cook until temperature reaches 165 and juice in meat is perfectly clear 9.

Serve!

Recipe 1.

Wash meat contents and place in a bowl 2.

Season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic pepper 3.

Chop one vidalia onion, add to bowl 4.

Add sauce and wine to the bowl 5. Pour contents into a large stockpot on medium heat 6.

Cook for 2 hours 7. After 2 hours add the cream of mushroom soup and 1/4 cup of brown gravy and turn on medium low heat 8.

Cook for 15-20 minutes 9.

Serve over rice or potatoes!

This salmon cooks on a bed of citrus to give the taste buds a dazzling sensation.

Ingredients 1.

1 Lemon 2.

1 Grapefruit 3.

1 Orange 4.

Fresh Salmon (Publix or Harris Teeter) 5.

Old Bay 6.

Lemon Pepper 7.

Parsley 8.

Sweet Cream Salted Butter Recipe

1.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2.

Slice all citrus fruits into 1/2 inch slices 3. Layer all citrus fruits on the bottom of the pan, leaving 5-6 slices to place on top 4.

Season salmon to taste with old bay and lemon pepper 5.

Chop pats of butter to go on top of salmon 6.

Place seasoned salmon on top of citrus bed 7.

Add butter to the top off salmon 8.

Bake on 375 degrees for 35 minutes 9.

Broil on 500 degrees for 4 minutes 10.

Serve while hot!

Recipe 1. Heat a skillet (Cast iron) up to a roaring heat. Starting the stove off at high heat.

Place oil in skillet 3.

Once oil is popping and smoking, place steak in the oil 4.

Place steak in skillet 5.

Don't touch for 1.5 minutes, and then flip for the same time 6.

Turn heat on medium 7.

Add butter to skillet 8.

Add rosemary sprigs to the skillet 9.

Add garlic gloves to the skillet 10.

Baste butter over steak and cook until your desired done-ness 11. LET THE STEAK REST FOR 7-10 MINUTES BEFORE CUTTING 12.

Wash turkey wings 2.

Preheat oven to 300 degrees 3.

Cut vegetables into strips 4. Season turkey wings with nature's seasonings and sazon 5.

Spray pan with Pam or cooking oil 6.

Add contents to pan 7.

Bake at 300 for 3 hours 8.

Drain turkey juices out of pan, into a bowl 9.

Combine gravy packets and stir well 10.

Place liquids back in pan and bake for 45 min-1 hour 11.

Wash and cut potatoes into bite size pieces Heat vegetable oil up in skillet at medium heat Add potatoes Season heavily with the seasoning listed above Cook until fork tender, flipping potatoes occasionally Use skillet top to cook quickly

2 Cans of Pink Salmon 2 Eggs 1/2 Cup All Purpose flour Salt Pepper Lemon Pepper 1 Vidalia Onion Green Onion 1 Cup Vegetable Oil

Open cans of salmon and drain De-bone salmon, making sure all bones have been taken out In a mixing bowl combine salmon, eggs, flour Heat oil on medium heat to 375 degrees Add chopped onions and green onions to mixture Add seasonings and mix well Form patties by picking up mixture with gloves and making circular patties with them Fry for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Serve with a side of grits or rice!
