We are located far behind the Arctic Circle of Norway, in the beautiful and wild valley of the Reisa River close to the Reisa National park.
Our specific location offers extraordinary range of traditional, but also quite unique outdoor-sport or nature-based activities. From hard-core adrenaline-fuelled adventures to the simple peaceful soul-healing touch of purest Nature. Add silence, clean rivers and lakes, fresh air and absolute solitude and you start to understand how powerful healing place this is.

REISA LODGE
We are located in the municipality Nordreisa in the Lyngenfjord region. About 3 hours from Tromsø City by car/buss and 25minutes with airplane (Sørkjosen airport). From Alta City and airport the travel time to Reisa Lodge is approx 2 hours. We have pick-up point for guests staying at Reisa Lodge at Sørkjosen airport.
Here are some of the options to get here:
In winter season, daily departures from Tromsø and Alta City to our place, Nordreisa/Sørkjosen. Easy, cheap and eco-friendly transport from the surrounding cities (Tromsø and Alta) to the districts. Amazing Troms is a supplier for The Arctic Route and can book tickets directly.
Tromsø (TOS) airport is the most convenient airport for the region and has the most frequent departures from Oslo (OSL). Alta (ALF) and Bardufoss (BDU) are other possibilities
Sørkjosen (SOJ) is a small airport in our town center, and offers daily connections with Widerøe to/from Tromsø City.
Bus 150 (Tromsø - Alta) and 160 (Tromsø - Storslett), has daily departures all year, and is a reliable and environmentally friendly option. Check www.fylkestrafikk.no for more information.
Combine a cruise with the Coastal Steamer Hurtigruten/Havila with a visit at Reisa Lodge. The port of call closest to Nordreisa, is Skjervøy, and Hurtigruten/Havila has daily calls to this harbour. Check www.hurtigruten.no and www.havilakystruten.no for more information.
We can arrange transport from Skjervøy to Reisa Lodge.
If you arrive by plane in Tromsø or any other airport near our region, you can rent a car at Avis, Hertz or Budget. In winter it is dark, often a lot of snow and slippery roads, so please take this into consideration.
Our suites are all exquisitely and tastefully furnished in the classic Norwegian style. Many of our suites offer breathtaking views across the Reisa River, with the spectacular mountains of Reisadalen towering behind.
The lodge offers six separate rooms and one apartment with two bedrooms and one kingsize bed, fireplace room, own restaurant, a Bivrost bar and a large rooftop terrace with jacuzzi
All our rooms have private bathroom, free WI-FI, king-size bed, places to sit and relax and TV.
The whole lodge can be booked for a private group. As an self-catering option, or with chef and staff.
Our restaurant with a direct view of the Reisa River offers 30 seats. Our chef works with the finest local ingredients to create a range of delicious local dishes, prepared according to your wishes. The restaurant can also be used for special events, celebrations, company meetings or teambuildings.
Bivrost bar offers a variety of delicious spirits distilled from local, arctic ingredients. The local distillery Bivrost is the northernmost distillery in the world. We work in close cooperation with Aurora Spirits, and are proud to be their ambassador.

Guest can book only rooms, with the possibillity of self - catering in one of our kitchen.
The Jacuzzi is located on the open-air roof terrace and offers a direct view of the Reisa River and the surrounding mountains. Is a nice spot to relax and see the northern lights. The jacuzzi offers space for 8-10 people.

We are ideally located in a wild wide valley without any light pollution. This makes it one of the best Scandinavian locations to observe northern lights. We offer special evening and night activities, during which you might be lucky to see the green dancing queen.
Depending on your taste, preferences and difficulty, we can take you to a few special viewpoints near the lodge, or near the coast.

Close to Reisa Lodge, we are very priviledged to find Norway’s best snowmobile trails. We offer two options for a trip on a snowmobile - a daylight trip in a beautiful surroundings of the Reisa valley or evening trip during which we search for the Northern Lights. You can share a snowmobile with a partner, and change between the driver and passenger role or go on one snowmobile with our guide.

Snowshoeing is a fantastic way to experience the beautiful Reisadalen or surroundings, whether in the forest, on the coast or in the mountains. We offer several options for a snowshoe trip. Depending on your preferences and difficulty, we can take you to a few special viewpoints that offer a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. Snowmoskiing is a combination of 2 extremely fun activities. Skiing and snowmobiling. Driving the snowmobiles is literally part of the culture in our rough cold region. This traditional way of transport will allow you to enjoy more amazing skiing lines in one without have to climb up the mountains using own power. In between the ski runs you can enjoy local snacks and hot drinks by the fire.

On our family friendly ice fishing trip, you will be fishing on an easily accessible frozen freshwater lake in Reisa Valley located about 5km from Reisa Lodge. A local tradition is to travel deep in the mountains by snowmobiles to what we call the «vidda». Here we have our secret spots on different frozen freshwater lakes, where we try our luck with ice fishing. Reisa valley offers one of the best ice climbing playgrounds in Norway. Here you will find aesthetic frozen waterfalls everywhere. There is nobody better to introduce you to vast opportunities of ice climbing in Reisa valley, then one of our local guides. The valley offers simple and easily accessible climbing routes for total beginners, as well as more complex and demanding routes for advanced climbers.

On this spectacular Fjord Cruise we will search the beautiful Norwegian Fjords for one of the largest mammals in the world! The sea areas off Skjervøy, north of Tromsø, are the whales’ hunting grounds. By using a medium sized boat, we can get close and personal with the whales while respecting these magnificent animals and not disturbing their feeding. We use a medium sized boat, RIB or closed cabin for our trips. We enjoying snacks and hot beverages while we search for the whales.

Transfer from Sorkjosen airport to Reisastua Lodge is included in package offers. Other means to get clients to Nordreisa county and Reisastua Lodge is possible, look under section «how to get here».
Activities that are not included in the package offer, but are available to book for your clients in the nearby area, and are in season. We highly reccomend booking additional offers, if of interest as early as possible. In the main season activities can be fully booked.

All prices given in the product manual are NETRATE prices, that is what we will invoice you for our services. The NETRATE price is 15% discount on our retail prices.
If a tour operator would like to add additional cost to your selling price, we have no contradiction to this. The 15% commission rate can be negotiated if the tour operator is supplying a larger number of clients.
At Reisa Lodge we have fixed check-in and check-out days. This way the tour operator can make their own package offers with available activities in that season/period, that match with our check- in/out days. For check-in is Sunday or Monday, depending on most suitable day for international flights. The fixed check-out day is 3 or 4 nights after Check-in day. If the tour operator is making a «tailored package» to suit their clients needs, the total lenght of the stay is 7 nights.
The tour operator / agent can make a reservation and try to fill the order. If the full reservation is not met we will release the remaining spots, no later than 4 months before arrival date of the reservation. The size of the reservation should reflect on the normal amount of clients the tour operator normally will sell. The reservation needs to be confirmed from both Reisa Lodge and Amazing Troms.
30% deposit of the full amount of the reservation is to be paid 4 months before arrival day. This for both package offers or single stays/activities. The booking is confirmed when your payment is processed and you will automatically receive a confirmation via e-mail. 30 days before arrival, you will receive a payment note that you have to pay the remaining amount. If the remaining amount is not paid 20 days before arrival, the booking will be cancelled.
- REFUND -
A cancellation of a reservation of both package offer or single stays/activities is subject to the following fees:
Cancellations made more than 60 days before arrival – 100% refund
Cancellations made between 20 and 59 days before arrival – 70% refund (deposit not refunded)
Cancellations made less than 20 days before arrival – 0% of the total price refunded
Amazing Troms and Reisa Lodge holds the right to cancel reservation and/or bookings if major changes occur, like: sickness, damages, weather, war, pandemic, force major or other circumstances that makes the supplier not able to deliver. The suppliers should offer other solutions and/or do whatever in their power til deliver their services.
Cancellations or major changes may occur to the booking/reservation, during the stay if:
Conditions out of our control; the weather, accidents etc.
Conditions for the booking is not met; minimum number of participants, age etc.
If this type of cancellation happens, and you do not accept the alternative provided to you, the supplier refund 100 % of the cost for that part of the booking/reservation. In order to ensure a good experience for you, the supplier might have to change minor details in your reservation. This may be caused by weather condition, mainly on activities.
